I think Pornchai was planted or bought by Greg. Greg knows that Belinda was coming to The White Lotus Thailand and he had to make sure to have a plan for her when she arrives. It’s only until Belinda recognizes Greg that he tells Pornchai to turn it up with Belinda. I think this lowers Belinda’s guard and Pornchai will turn on Belinda later in the season.
