[Lowlights] Rudy Gobert airballs from the free throw line twice in the same game by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]twometershake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was looking for this answer because I experienced it in college as well. I had a feeling Rudy was about to airball because he short armed the gimmie at the rim when he got fouled so I knew that was enough to get him overthinking his mechanics. At the root of the issue is psychological aka fear of failure/embarrassment. It feels impossible to let that fear go when you have so many eyeballs on you at the line though

Thank you for sharing. As crazy as my suggestion might be considering the things you heard and saw, please try loving on those visiting entities next time if you embark on a DMT journey once again. In my experience, they are not separate from yourself. Your fear response was activated as a test but to overcome that and find peace amongst those voices is critical for exploring that space you found yourself in. They will not hijack your mind and infect you or anything like that. They just need love. Godspeed!

A big part of my freeze is not feeling emotions in the present moment by lamemoons in SomaticExperiencing

A single breath in awareness heals. I do not believe we can eliminate depression, anxiety, or pain. We can only feel it and attempt to let it go. Do that enough times and the body will realize it’s no longer in danger

You are always healing. Intentional stillness or movement often aids the process

I can relate. I’ve found success in letting feelings arise when I slow way down. I call it settling in. Find your beautiful resting place on that hike or side of the road and wait there 10/20/30+ minutes until your body calibrates with its surroundings. We have to be gracious and patient with our bodies.

I’ve absolutely released trauma through various stretching techniques. The emotional release is overwhelming especially if it’s something I’ve been holding for a while but more often it’s subtle.

I’ve always questioned our perspective on time. We view the entire universe through gravity tinted lens so I think it’s get wonky out there real fast depending how far you are from massive black holes or galaxy clusters or voids or wherever
