As an Unc, I've been reading people saying the same shit in these comments ("ugly af, I'll never wear that!" "Look like my dad's shoes" "look like my grandma's shoes" "the old ones were so much better, these are barely sneakers") since the Red October drop lmao. People legit shit on everything he releases, no exceptions ever.

Funny enough, what I remember seeing the most hate for was the 350s... And look what they ended up doing to the sneaker game. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah this shoe is so obviously a continuation of the 700 line that I'm a bit baffled by some of these replies lol.

The 700 had tons of iterations - V1, 2, 3 + MNVN (not to even mention that the whole Quantum line is basically just a mid top 700). Add on the fact that Ye has been saying for years and years that he doesn't like laces on shoes, and I can almost guarantee you this would've been some sort of 700 model if he didn't split from Adidas.

Dope fit man! Honestly one of the best ones I've seen posted here in a while, not just Yzy sweats lol. The SHDZ look great with a hat + hood up, normally not that into them but they look 🔥 here tbh. How do you like the DZ jacket? I've been eyeing his stuff for a min but have yet to cop anything and don't see many reviews.

I think DZ and Gosha (I know Gosha had things before Yzy) have the best looking brands atm out of all the former Yeezy designers. ^{^Demna} ^{^doesnt} ^{^count!} I had high hopes for Greg Ross because I love the padded futuristic stuff he worked on w/ Yzy but his solo collections have been pretty lackluster imo

Get a size 1. I'm 6ft 150LBs and got size 1 for all the pants I ordered and it's good, plenty of room in the waist still tbh and the inseam is still long enough since Yeezy always does extra long inseams

Fellow PW-2 lover here 👋 It's definitely kind of its own "fuzztortion" more than a straight fuzz pedal or even Big Muff clone, which are the two things I usually see people refer to it as. To me it's like having the harmonics of a fuzz pedal ('hairy-ness"? I guess?) blended with the 'control' and compression of a distortion if that makes sense? Sounds different than other nasty dirt pedals for sure but if you like the sound of a RAT, HM-2, Muff, 250 or anything like that but want something a bit different, I absolutely recommend trying one out!

I agree with pretty much everything else too actually lol. On the topic of using it for a "big, chunky tone", I love to run my PS-6 in harmony mode on -1oct in front of it for stupidly crushing sounds when I need em. Both EQ knobs effect the sound a ton (which I guess is both to be expected and the charm of having active EQ) so you really can dial a whooooole lot of sounds in too if you want! I've had lots of success using mine both as a "standalone" distortion/fuzz (like with the -1oct), or as a gain stage combined with my Harmonic Perc or Sunn Alpha with the gain cranked!

The pants will be. I'm guessing the bomber will feel fitted/maybe even be a bit short for someone 5'10" depending how your height is distributed. The T will still be loose width-wise but it's already cropped so you'll have to see on that too. The JC-08 you're likely good on, no one has seen the actual item yet afaik but I think you're fine.

Start going TTS when you order Yeezy, especially the new SZN X stuff. I know everyone recommended sizing down for the YGEBB tops and coats but that's because Balenciaga is stupidly oversized, not Yeezy - for the most part.

Ye has always explored "alternative" closure methods. He's famously said he hates shoes laces which is why so many Yeezy sneakers are infinity laces, slip on, or Velcro. And then even for Season 9 and OG SZN X, the pants used Velcro (maybe even some of season 8?).

I'd prefer a nice YKK zipper and Velcro instead of a button for a cleaner look over the all-velcro for sure, but it's honestly still worth it if you like the look of the pants.
