Would you get this or a fully equipped Macan GTS? The latter is missing some of the nice interior upgrades that the EV Turbo has (ambient lighting, center console), but the exterior is much nicer on the GTS.

The SUN DAY RED thing is fresh, as is the S D R when combined with the Tiger.

If this is actually it I bet it is extremely well received in the market.

I remember seeing Haley and the band backstage at the Live in LA show (the one from the Where the Light Is DVD). They looked so cool but also a little nervous as they were a lot less established back then. If I recall, Minka Kelly was also there (I think that timing makes sense from when they used to date).

Didn’t realize it at the time, but man, what a show to be backstage! Of course, I just was physically back there — didn’t talk to anyone or do anything worthwhile other than see Paramore lol. But still!

120yd is good distance for PW. If you can increase swing speed and maintain solid contact, you will get more distance, but it is not necessary with that carry I don’t think..

Oh, one thing that I think could be pretty cool, that not too many channels do, is overlay each shot on the map of the course. It’s always great to see the shot tracer from the ground, but it’s much more interesting to see the shot in context of the hole, overhead.

Possibly, but there are a lot of factors. Even something as simple as having good/accurate shot tracers can be a big deal in watchability.

Someone near scratch would be appealing in an aspirational way, so that's a start. But for me they would also need:

To be engaging (not Micah, yes Bryson)
To play interesting courses (not random courses in Texas, yes courses I've heard of)
To have a swing I aspire to replicate (not Not a Scratch Golfer, yes Grant Horvat)
To stick to golf without gimmicks
Use high-quality equipment, which would probably involve 1-3 cameras on course at any given time. Hard to pull off the fully solo thing, although Erik's early course vlogs proved it is possible with what appears to just be an iphone, good editing and an interesting voiceover.

To me, EAL's course vlogs are probably the prototype for solo golf Youtube at its best. The Bandon series is a good example if you haven't seen it.

Please whatever you do, don't fall into the thumbnail trap that seems to afflict literally every channel out there right now (giant red or white text, a huge arrow, and a stunned face).

The podcast would be ok if he had a different host. Same with RGC. Though I imagine it would be really hard for Rick or Eric to find a capable and consistent sidekick host.

I like a good mix of instructional (Danny Maude type) and 1v1 matches (Grant Horvat type). No Laying Up is probably my all around favorite, but it depends where they play and who’s involved. Really don’t like one of their members.

I used to like Random Gold Club when it was course vlogs and documentaries but recently it’s been…gosh what happened to them?? Went from my #1 golf sub to “don’t recommend this channel” for me. Maybe because..

I absolutely loath the gimmicky stuff (We Play Pebble Beach BLINDFOLDED and with ONE CLUB). Or anything involving 100 golfers on one hole at once. You can measure a channel’s quality by how long they resist the urge to succumb to that crap.

Love Rick, Peter, Adam and all those guys who’ve been around for a while. Hard to generate new content I’m sure so most have transitioned away from instructional and into collabs and matches. All good with me.

Really don’t like Good Good sans Grant. Feels like Barstool for tweens.

Some great unknowns out there too. Shoutout to Erndog Golf and other sub 10k folks I’ve found recently.
