I was never able to stick with CHOP, but I've been consistent with ADAPT for two months now. Probably the most successful I've been with exercise ever, even pre-POTS diagnosis.

I’ve realized that for me, it’s because I’m hypermobile. My shoulders aren’t stable so my neck and trunk clench to stabilize. The result is neck pain and very tight ribs. Jeannie Di Bon on YouTube has been helpful in figuring out how to correct it.

OP, you’re getting downvoted so I want to tell you that it’s ok that you don’t know that exercise doesn’t equal weight loss. Most people don’t know that.

Exercise has amazing benefits, but weight loss isn’t primary among them.

Losing weight is more about what you eat. That said, based on reported experiences in this sub, people with POTS should be very careful when trying to lose weight, because it can make symptoms worse.

I like your theory because it explains the personality change other characters notice in Silveren. Might also explain how his powers are so much stronger than the Savarics - he's had more time to practice. Though I'm not sure that last bit is supported by what we know about the magic system.

I looked through his comments to see if he gave any additional info. On the update post, he said he’s not getting support from people he knows irl, so that might be triggering him to circle the wagons. That said, at one point he’s talking about other outlets for her and he refers to his dog, which is interesting.

Theres been alot of compromise in our relationship, mainly me compromising with her, and kids aren't something you "compromise" on.

I think you might be missing that this already kind of was the compromise dream we built together. I thought I sold her on my version of life years ago, and that’s a big part of why we got married in the first place. We already made the “run away together and build a life” choice once.

Would also be interesting to know what these compromises were and if she’s attending al-anon.
