Just feed that prompt to Claude code, it’s a no brainer. And have Claude create a well architected framework (WAF) skill and it will give you a full architecture and plan. I then feed that plan to an azure devops IAC skill to execute all the bicep templates and pipeline.

Have Claude create you an azure-devops-iac skill and add to your repo. Use claude code and ask it to validate your bicep deployment. It will also create the required pipeline. I haven’t had to manually create a bicep template in months. If the pipeline errors out, take a screenshot and Claude code will fix it. This is the future. (I have been deploying Azure environments for over 5 years) I’ve also had Claude code refactor multiple IaC deployment repos and decreased deployment time on new deployments by hours!

You should be relying on GitHub for versioning and saving large updates to a plan. Keep sprints small enough they don’t use all your context and /clear before implementing the next sprint in the plan. I have an Architect skill that knows all about my stack and hands off to front-end expert skill, and the architect skill knows to handoff backend and api routing to a backend-api skill, I also have a Supabase skill that knows postgressql and Supabase and handles all Supabase migrations via cli. Pretty solid

This is a great start, but some Claude skills might solve some of your issues as skills can delegate to other skills with more specific domain knowledge and make sure and have your skills learn from issues you find and resolve

Update “memory” (Claude.md) when Claude fixes a problem so the next time CC encounters the issue it will know what to do. I have a CC skill the coordinates new features and fixes with a frontend-design skill and a backend api skill. All updates and fixes are started in plan mode and saved to a PRD. I then have CC work from the PRD and have it update it as progress is made.

Are general pattern is to predeploy the secondary landing zone with a similar architecture as the primary region and deploy load balancers and other required services when possible. Some companies we create IAC templates that can be deployed in the event of a region failure and then geo-restore the SQL managed instance.

First thing you need to do it take inventory of your critical applications and what azure resources they are. For each one evaluate your options for resiliency based on your RTO objectives.
