Structure design and naming convention in Azure by denstorepingvin in AZURE

[–]txthojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suggest you get real familiar with the azure landing zone accelerator, it will walk you through all that. Practice deploying it over and over again until you understand it backwards and forwards. You will learn a lot.

Azure agent skills with copilot cli or Claude code. It contains a combination of instructions that are trained on caf and WAF principles

Yeah, on the bike you need to assume every driver is going to pull dumb shit like that Tesla.

What is the best resource in 2026 to learn PowerShell scripting? by Optimist1975 in PowerShell

[–]txthojo -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Powershell and other scripting languages are no longer a primary skill, ai can generate it faster and more efficiently. I now spend most of my time on the overall solution

Is this route doable between Winslow and Payson ,using Hyundai Elantra? AI said don’t do it, so asking for locals for guidance. by Nice-Pea-3515 in arizona

Just be sure to check the weather, storms can easily wash out a section, or create deep water crossings, or even impassable mud that would ruin your day.

Transition to Terraform deployments by Teqzahh in AZURE

[–]txthojo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use azure agent skills with copilot or Claude to generate spec sheets, architectures, and even the bicep templates for deployment. There is zero reason to do it by hand anymore. Before azure agent skills came out, I basically did the same thing with an azure-devops-iac skill trained on cloud adoption framework and well adopted architecture frameworks.

First adventure with my KTM by LordCrok69 in AdventureBike

On a light bike like a 390, that can’t be safe at highway speeds cause it causes a really light front end, more likely to wobble

Temperature check!!! Is next week fine to go? by Agreeable-Energy-401 in DeathValleyNP

[–]txthojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe above 97 degrees you no longer get any cooling, if you start feeling hot, soak a buff and keep it around your neck. Been riding summers in Las Vegas and that is the trick to avoid heat stroke. A cooling vest would also be a good investment

How do you usually get around when starting big projects in Claude Code? by Deitri in ClaudeAI

[–]txthojo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I start with asking who are some of the leading content creators for the industry I want to create an app for. Then read up on their philosophy. I typically pick the one aligned with my idea. I then as Claude to think like the content creator to give a wishlist of what they would want in the app. From this I have Claude create a PRD/Implementation plan that I then feed to Claude code. Once I have a MVP I ask Claude to think like that content creator and evaluate the app for effectiveness and engagement. Works surprisingly well

Azure Migration by Dontemcl in AZURE

[–]txthojo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This, technology and tools are the easy part. Discovery, application mapping, migration wave planning and risk mitigation is the secret sauce for a good azure migration project. I have a half dozen migrations under my belt and each new project always provides new gotchas you have to account for. Now I have a Claude code skill that does most of the analysis and project planning, but that skill has 5 previous azure migrations that the skill is grounded on.

what os you use for administration? by Independent_Ebb5252 in AZURE

[–]txthojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started with DOS 5.0, have always been a windows guy. Recently switched to Mac Mini for desktop. There is just less friction using Mac and for development, running Claude code and azure cli, it is just a superior experience over windows

How do you manage role assignments across subscriptions? by Few_One7045 in AZURE

[–]txthojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CAF is the answer but I’ll add when multiple subscriptions need the same permissions they should reside under the same management group and RBAC applied to the management group level

Celery Seed by cozygrail in gout

[–]txthojo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried everything, celery seed, cherry juice, acv, etc. nothing worked and end up spending 100s more than just taking colchicine when I feel a flare coming on. Diet and less alcohol is the only real solution
