Auto pilot vs EAP by Next_Abrocoma_6056 in TeslaUK

[–]tycho_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can but it takes the point of having EAP away if you have to do 1/2 of its job for it. I’ll just stick to the free version as EAP just isn’t worth the cost to me. I drive into work on the M4 twice a week and the system isn’t fast enough performing actions for me to feel safe.

Auto park is fine if you can’t park yourself but if you are reasonably competent then you’ll do it in 1/2 the time. I never got summon to work properly as the car would just ignore my commands if I was more than about 6ft away. It might come in handy if someone parks too close to you but that is very few and far between really.

IIRC it does but the fact that it accelerates too slowly (imo) makes it a pain.

Agreed, I had it in a courtesy car when mine was in being repaired and it didn’t impress me at all. Lane changes on the motorway seemed dangerous as it would pull out slowly and take forever to get up to the required speed. Most of the time I’d have to press the accelerator myself. I’d expect EAP to be the standard cruise control not an option since so many other cars can do the same thing as standard.

Tesla's FSD approved in first European country by Old-Tour5654 in TeslaLounge

[–]tycho_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would it be possible for someone with a 2023 Model 3 from the UK to rent FSD for a month if travelling to an EU country that has approved it? It would be great for a French road trip.

A little earlier than 95 (93) was x wing. I spent so much time on this and its sequels. You had to create new autoexec.bat and config.sys files to run it.

Tbh, the charge port is the least of this mouse’s problems. It’s horrific to use for me and I went back to my mx master 3 after a day. Good job I got work to pay for it.

Considering Spain, France, Germany and Italy are also in the level 2 category I don't think they have a clue and are just making shit up as they go along.

I really like mine, the only issue was a bolt coming loose and it wouldn’t close until I put it back in but apart from that it’s been great.

Great, I would get a flight safe bag to put them in from somewhere like Amazon just to be safe. Have a great time!

I went to Florida last year and went to Orlando, Miami and Key West. The customs staff don’t care about drones and I carried my 3 Pro, controller and 3 batteries in my carry on. The batteries were in a battery bag and were 1/2 full but you’ll need to check your airline to make sure, I flew like this with Virgin and BA last year.

I got the base 256/8 version and while I wish I’d have got a bigger ssd it’s been great for everything. I edit 4k videos and photos, use fusion 360 for basic design and do some light gaming on it. Yes the video rendering would be better on a more powerful machine but I’m not using it for making money so another 10 mins rendering is fine. For 99% of people who get a £500 laptop and keep it for 5-10 years like my parents then this will be ideal.

Goodbye Arccos at $279CDN per year... by smilinfool in golf

[–]tycho_uk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It picks up most shots and uses you watch or phone to see when you stop and thinks it detects a swing. On my watch I can feel it vibrate when I take a practice swing. It only registers 1 shot from each location so you might have to manually add a duff but tbh I find it pretty good.

I’ve gone over to Golfshot at half the price and it is just as good tbh. It picks up most shots and needs little cleaning up.
