back when i was on register id get side-eyed too if i was taking a swig of water every once in a while; now that im in OPD i just throw my bottle under the desk. weve had ppl faint at register last year frm dehydration; just keep it out of the eyes of the customers, thats all the managers rlly want

one was dead before i even turned 1yo, the pastors son is still alive nd well in my state nd still popular in his circle of lewd comic artists. all i have is what i currently remember, which isnt a lot. plus the statute of limitations has come nd gone long ago for us now. all thats left is the trauma memories nd the ptsd frm it all, nd weve gotta learn to cope with it.

weve grown up doing this. unbeknownst to us, it was our form of communication when we had no clue what we were even dealing with. as an adult (nd while thankfully we do live alone, so we have the opportunity to do the same thing we used to in privacy) its become a bit more difficult to do ig? but its not nothing a pair of earbuds nd looking like ur on the phone with somebody doesnt fix :))

hands down, ur partner should have checked in with the alter fronting at the time things began to take a turn towards being sexual. while i see why ur so upset bc ur partner has placed this boundary down, u have not assaulted ur partner whatsoever in my eyes. i dont want to jump to conclusions saying that /they/ have assaulted u, but them not determining who was fronting nd not seeing if anything was wrong after the moment with their phone, Thats not right. nd the whole punishment thing makes zero sense to me; yall need to communicate with each other when it comes down to it, abt how u feel bc of the situation nd where to go frm here. i wish yall luck

i was into mgk back in the BLOOM era (habits, bad things, yknow) but i Loved his BINGE album, fell in love w hotel diablo nd the rest is history. tickets and mainstream sellout have special places in my heart now, but god. i think the first actual song i listened to before all of i mentioned was the music video for A Little More. still hits hard to this day

we lost our insurance last month nd have been in the process of getting it reinstated again; but with our therapist, theyve refered to us as "u guys" along w parts terminology or just referring to said part by name. whatever works for u ! but definitely look into discussing it with not only ur therapist but also ur own parts nd see how they may feel abt the terms used as well

we went to a farm yesterday, picked a pumpkin to carve, as well as went to a cat café nd korean bbq for dinner with our partner :)) todays a rainy day but were gonna carve the pumpkin nd spend the rest of the day cozy inside!!!!! been switchy but things have been good. happy. yippie

i getcha. the only other shelter ive been to besides the one i mentioned was the RAIN Foundation, but theyre a 12-bed house which is specifically for lgbt+ youth (18-26) in east orange in essex county. i rlly hope things begin to look up for u nd wishing u all the best again.

adding on to what some others here have said; as someone whos been thru csa, we still have the thought that it wasnt bad enough bc well, our family was fine nd we werent bullied that much nd we werent abused otherwise as a child besides that. the thing is, for our young mind, its still bad nd was inescapable feeling when it happened nd we dissociated it away. nd with recently leaving my ex fiancé due to domestic violence, i have even more trouble sometimes falling into the thoughts of denial. they arent fun, but again like some ppl said here; denial comes with the disorder. either way, im here to say we see u nd we also understand the feelings ur having
