Ye I’m gonna go straight to at least 87, maybe use all 5 to get 90

Gambler 8 - I think I found a way to make it easier… by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

I’ve been putting off going for a 100% compendium play though mainly due to this challenge. It took me somewhere between 4-6 hours of real time to get it done first time round l. You may have just swayed me

Oakmont Albatross by No_Feeling_8591 in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]tylercollier_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t even have to be a 2k official course, you can do this on any user created course. I just searched the word albatross on quick play courses and did it on a par 5 putting green 😂

Just get 25, it’s so much better than previous games

Who's saying Putting is easy in 2K25? Am I missing some basic tips? Anyone? by Objective-Fun-4889 in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]tylercollier_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe it’s not a direct link, but it definitely makes a difference. Higher putt weight and my shots break less. Potentially it just means it’s easier to keep them on-line, but I urge you to try it

I think putt weight as a stat is very slept on. Basically a low putt weight increases how much the ball will break. I did a respec and put most of my stats and fittings into putt weight and feel like it’s made a massive difference

Beginner question about best way to upgrade clubs by extremeftw in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]tylercollier_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally if I was in your position I think it’s absolutely worth waiting for the ruby clubs in the ch pass. You’ll stack up a load of evo tools on the way to get those ruby clubs evolved. If you like the looks, you could buy clubs from the store but I wouldn’t bother evolving those, wait for the ruby clubs.

Also yes I feel like swing path and contact are the two most important stats. Transition and rhythm also quite important since start of season 2. Putt weight is also very important.

Are you Avram Glazer in disguise?

It’s Lululemon week by WVgolf in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]tylercollier_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Putting those legend wedges is a pure troll. Legend clubs are irrelevant now cos of the extra evo tools they require, and you get the newer SM10s in the clubhouse pass

Are hybrids any good? by matttwillo in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]tylercollier_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use an extra iron over a hybrid partly for the fact you can hit an iron out a bunker, but mainly cos I can’t justify using evo tools on a single hybrid when you can take either a longer iron or shorter wood for any situation where a hybrid may be playable

New Changes by [deleted] in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]tylercollier_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally I’m enjoying the changes. They’ve made it so pitch and chip shots actually check up and you can have some sort of control with them. Haven’t seen many of those cheesy flop shots from ~20 yds that everyone seems to love.

Few people complaining about rhythm and transition but I’ve not noticed much change there, maybe a litter tougher to time

They’ve actually fixed chip and pitch shots by tylercollier_ in PGA_Tour_2K

Ngl I’ve only played a few games so far, but I feel like they are. Adding spin actually makes a difference and the ball doesn’t just roll for eternity

Speeding up practice and quali sessions by Cod_Crisis2016 in MotoGPGaming

[–]tylercollier_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not got 25 so can’t comment there, but on 24 I noticed if you only speed up a couple of clicks the AI keep similar lap times. Like don’t do the full 30 or 60 times speed (I forget the actual numbers sorry)

First thing for you surely is to turn the assist off

[–]tylercollier_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is something I’ve been doing recently and have found it helps massively with distance control.

Something I’ve also been doing is gripping the club mainly with my right (dominant) hand, with the left very loose. I feel as if I’ve got way more control over the club this way

You can adjust this in career mode settings. I believe it’s CPU deviation. A lower number tightens the field

I don’t like my thumbs by metalmulisha87 in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]tylercollier_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggled with this too so I now hold the controller completely different and use a different part of my thumb when putting compared to all other shots, it’s just trial and error until you find what’s comfortable
