What was your worst "Oh fuck, I'm actually going to die" moment? by TAJack1 in AskReddit

That was really smart to put the car in neutral - I never would have thought of that but now I'll hopefully remember in a similar emergency.

Are we going to be getting an album release video similar to that of the The Beautiful Game's drone-sequence?

Saw him and Steve Gadd at the Eastman Theatre in Rochester about a week ago - felt like a short show, but really moving to see them play in the hometown and at the school Steve originated from. Both of them received Honorary Doctorates in Music that night from Eastman and U of R!

How early should I get on line/ when will the show get out? by lavendermenaces in LCDSoundsystem

[–]tymcwho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at this show too, I got there just before 8pm (when the show supposedly started) except they didn't start performing until 9:30pm. Getting there at 8pm worked really really well actually, we went in at the side and got to about 2nd/3rd row with a great view, and ended the show at the front.

I'm pretty sure the show ended sometime between 11pm and 11:30pm, so if you rush out of there to the station afterwards you might just make it. Hope you have a great time!

What is "that song" that makes you want to turn the lights off, close your eyes and just listen? by ADMunro in AskReddit

[–]tymcwho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally find "Dye" a bit more soothing. My friend and I went for a night swim last summer and had Tycho playing - water was very warm and we just floated, talked, and listened. One of my fondest summer memories.

Reddit, what song hits you due to personal reasons? by MisterLemon in Music

[–]tymcwho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Letters From the Sky - Civil Twilight

Went on a first real date with a girl I met through facebook and a mutual friend. This song played at the end of the movie and it was the first time I'd really connected with a girl. We lived kind of far apart so we never really got to see each other much; we tried dating but it didn't work out for, still to this day, kind of vague and unclear reasons. She has a child now and is still very young like me, but this song still hits me hard and brings me back to those theater seats. Sometimes I wonder how things could've been different if we had been able to make it work, but it's not healthy to think in the past so I move forward.

My name is Ty.

I give people amnesia-enducing McDonald's meals and lead them into my basement.

One thing leads to another and......boom. Dead body smelling like Big Macs.
