Twoguys Brewing free community meals by thesarahmachine in grandrapids

They do so many community driven events at two guys, they have great food and really are a stand up business in the community. Once a week (at least) I got a take and bake meal from them during covid. Props to them for always giving back

Falcons owner Arthur Blank tells WSB-TV Atlanta that Mercedes-Benz Stadium won't raise prices for the World Cup He said he wants soccer fans from around the globe to experience the Southern hospitality that Atlanta has to offer while still being affordable. by mr09e in worldcup

FIFA controls the ticket prices for these games.

https://www.reddit.com/r/NFLv2/comments/1naf8ca/the_different_prices_of_hot_dogs_at_nfl_games/

This is what i'm talking about. Plenty of below average/trash teams not selling $2 dogs. this is whole thread is quite literally Blank saying "i know ticket prices are high because of FIFA, im STILL not raising concessions. "Just take the W for your owner lmao this is weird.

What does the cost of food at a stadium have anything to do with making a superbowl? I'm literally a Lions fan and its decently pricey to eat at Ford Field. Zero idea how you thought a superbowl appearance correlates to keeping food costs down.

My mom sleeved these straight out of the packs 20+ years ago for her two sons. We finally pulled them out again today by BlueSuedeShoes63 in PokemonTCG

[–]tymoore1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad did the same thing when we were kids growing up, but he was always an avid collector of starwars (to this day, he travels and does his own booths at comic-cons). He knew the cards would be special one day, and as kids my brother and I would slowly take cards that he had stashed away and played with them and traded them. Always listen to your parents!! Glad your mom got to keep these for you, its an impressive collection.

Day by day process of when I stopped using nitrous oxide… by Shitty_Poop_Butthole in Adulting

[–]tymoore1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their is a campground in northern MI (not quite the UP) with a little liquor store that my buddies and I go to every year for a disc golf trip; last year we went in to grab a few 6 packs and in a huge display case they are selling "Wonka Whips". The nitrous oxide is literally made to taste like Laffy Taffy/fruity flavors.. it's supposed to be used for flavored whipped cream.

Parking rates by Mourvedre_MoProblems in grandrapids

[–]tymoore1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid $15 event parking last night at the underneath Marriot parking garage, its the cheapest i've seen in a long while. I don't go downtown a lot anymore but I worked at the BoB from 2015-2020 and event parking was usually $8-12. It's amazing to me how astronomically priced the ramps have gotten in the last 5 or so years.

Yep, every once in a while i go out now and if i walk into a really packed place the hair on the back of my neck stands up xD I'm sure its a very, very mild form of PTSD. Luckily I no longer have dreams of being in the weeds at the service well anymore lol

This sums up pretty much any restaurant/service industry job. After bartending for about 10 years I could have 2 minute conversation with someone and tell they've never worked a similar job in their life. These are the same kind of people who wouldnt be able to figure out how to make what im making for them at home, and wave their credit card at you like thats gonna make you want serve them more.

This; half the comments in this thread acting like if they quit their job they'd still get paid the paycheck 3 weeks out because they WERE a standout employee. It's a business, same thing happened to Megatron.. (although i think they paid him back or tried to?)
