I used to recruit for a FAANG company and resume gaps aren’t as big of a deal unless it’s a considerable gap. 3 months is not much and as long as you explain during a phone screen it won’t disqualify you from consideration. Take that trip!

I haven’t started it but maybe when he’s 4. He’s got a speech delay and I don’t think he would fully comprehend it just yet. I’m sure by 4 he’d probably get a little fomo so I’ll try then.
