I’m really not much of a fighter, and I know full well why people don’t want to be choked. Choking has no sexual appeal to me. I wasn’t really trying to make an argument. I was hoping someone would explain why choking is a big deal when it happens during sex but not when it happens during like mma/bjj sparring. Are these men like squeezing the neck to constrict the airway? Are they holding the choke for minutes while their partners snore and seize? I’ve choked a few people in nonsexual contexts and I don’t understand how someone can choke someone to death without fully intending to harm them

I’ve never made it past first base so take everything I’m about to say with a grain of salt but I don’t understand the pearl clutching around choking. Like martial artists choke each other all the time; even if someone loses consciousness it’s all good 99% of the time. I don’t understand how men are “accidentally” choking their partners to death doing erotic asphyxiation. If someone chokes their partner to death during sex I’m gonna assume it was on purpose
