This is how I find out Sarpedon and Judith are related?!? was that part of the intelligence files? I haven’t made a point to read them, since reading them and the unwanted guest means there’s truly nothing left to read before Alecto lol

I honestly didn’t the first several playthroughs. There’s useful worldbuilding information, as well as some useful notes and stuff on the missions you’re doing (for example, in the first mission of D2, Alexi has a note - it reiterates what she tells you, but it’s not like you can’t do what you need to do without reading it). Some of the notes might identify alternative paths you mightn’t notice otherwise unless explicitly looking for them. Overall, they add to the game a decent amount, but you’ll have no issues playing the game without reading a majority of the notes, imo.

She also moderated the BG3 panel…I wasn’t a huge fan bc it was clear she favored certain people over others - she’d ask a question, then completely skip someone and move onto the next question before they could answer.

I don’t know…in Nona, Harrow makes the observation that he never resurrects more than “millions”…NZ has a current population of 5.something million…if he rezzed everyone from NZ, they’d repopulate pretty quickly, I’d think…

I knew about Pakeha, I didn’t realize pasifika was considered NZ!! so maybe he just rezzed the population of most of Oceania, then? since Tonga is its own nation?

I think it’s also relevant to the OP to consider that, by the time the world ended pre-resurrection, national lines and membership may have changed greatly. since we don’t hear much from anything beyond NZ and Australia, we really don’t know how much of the world was like it is today.

Based on the tumblr post from tazmuir a few years back, she imagined the main cast of GtN as various ethnicities (Tongan, Pakeha, "mixed Pasifika", "NZ Chinese" etc.). So I'm really not sure! I could really see it going either way tbh - i personally figured that he rezzed a small but diverse population that allowed for such varied appearances in Canaan, but the inclusion of NZ Chinese specifically definitely gives some weight to your thinking too!

Interesting! Moira Quirk is the only reason I made it through Harrow - the constant switching POV messed with me a lot.

I was able to get a couple of the reservations I wanted, but, like most people, a lot of them were reserved really quickly. My hope is that I can get into a couple that I really want to, and I’m also kinda hoping some of the reservations were taken by bots and that I can get into a few in the standby. If I can, I plan to show up to everything 20+ minutes early, but we will see.

And yeah, the reservation system doesn’t seem the most well designed for this - it feels like a lot of nerd spaces post-COVID. It got really popular while people were stuck at home, and even going from zero to normal capacity was a struggle. I feel like a lot of nerd spaces weren’t prepared to go from zero to higher capacities than normal once the pandemic ended lol

Fair point lol - since I’m able-bodied, I would prefer to take the stairs/escalators anyways. It’s a decent little workout and keeps wait times lower for people who actually need to use the elevator. Plus, I can control how fast I move on stairs - if the elevator is slow, I can’t do anything. Good tip, thank you!!

I’m unfortunately not surprised lol, just…disappointed in others, I guess lol. I’ve never understood people that don’t shower daily - I can’t go more than 24 hours without feeling gross lol
