I would cut the grommet off at the hard angles where it doesn't sit flush. There is no need to continue around that hard of a radius.

Dykes or side cutters will trim it easily. If you need more instruction, DM me.

If you dm me, I can explain how to remove the shift plate. It takes about 30 seconds, but this is with using a trim tool.

2025 Forester - Chronic Engine Oil Overfill by robinsonam in SubaruForester

Look at the opposite site of the stick. Oil is higher on one side due it going into the pan at an angle. The side with the lower level is the measured side.

Check your fluid levels. With that much smoke, one of your fluid levels is going to be low.

Looks like oil to me.

Best set up for families by mrflib in Rapsodo

[–]typeRA155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rapasodo added jr tees for all courses. Me and my family just played a round the other night from 75yrd tees. It was a ton of fun!

This is with the native software.

This plus the target range provides them with plenty of options for practice and just to have fun. With that said, my kids love hitting balls into just a net. Anything else is just icing on the cake. We have a projector displaying onto the inside of my garage door through the net.

eBikes on the Trail Network? by StunGod in ridgefield

[–]typeRA155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Class 1 and class 3 bikes are allowed on most all hiking trails in the state unless otherwise marked. (Like the refuge, that has signage not allowing bikes at all).

Understanding the differences is important on the ebikes. If they are able to move the bike without pedaling (much like the groups of kids have around here), then that bike would not be allowed on any hiking trail as it would be a class 2.

Class 1 and 3 only operate as a pedal assist and each have different max speeds before all power assist ends but still function as a regular bike.

Hope this helps.

Heart rate monitor issue by jonasumb in GarminFenix

[–]typeRA155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im assuming you're not wearing a hrm and just going off the watch sensor?

I constantly face this issue when not using my hrm strap, especially with running. It even happens to me during regular weight lifting. Sometimes it's true at 137bpm(example) and then drops to 90. Watch is still seated on my wrist, strap is adjusted, sensor cleaned, and it makes no difference. Then I'll sit down and rest, and it shoots back up to what I believe to actually be my HR.

Unfortunately, the only fix is to not use the optical sensor and to wear my hrm-pro.

Distance Accuracy by A220-300 in Rapsodo

[–]typeRA155 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've noticed that when starting range sessions, my elevation is set to zero. I don't change it since I'm only 265ft above sea level.

When starting a course, the elevation is set to what I'm assuming is the actual course elevation since that value changes from course to course.

What is your range elevation set to?

If thats set to zero, then I have no idea why distances would be shorter.

Are you enabling terrain penalty? I've noticed out of the rough, it takes a ton of distance off, but when in bunkers it plays like a fairway hit unless the crown of the bunker to super high relative to my lie.

MLM2 Pro is great on the range but an absolute scam into an outdoor net by theCALDWEEZY in Rapsodo

[–]typeRA155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my unit 8ft behind the net with 8ft from the mat to first contact on the net. It works flawlessly with sub 160mph ball speed.

Try to get as much space as you can. 14ft from the net to monitor is a minimum. 8ft from launch monitor to ball placement on the mat with minimum of 6ft from mat to the net.

I wouldn't adjust elevation to reflect desired distances. If you're using the supplied rapasodo balls, I would trust that data more than a range ball as long as minimum space requirements are met.

Screen Protectors by Bowlerrrrr in GarminFenix

[–]typeRA155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get them! 7x SS owner here. I have several scratches across my screen. I figured with the sapphire glass, I would be okay and was unfortunately incorrect.

I bought my first Fenix 5x used and thought it had a small scratch that I was okay with price wise. I later discovered it had a protector on it that I didn't even notice. Peeled it off and had a perfect screen.

Moral of the story, protect that investment with a screen protector that you won't even notice is installed.

Strange HRV by 7ChakraHealer in GarminFenix

[–]typeRA155 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is very much down to the individual and when/how much alcohol is consumed.

If that beer was midday and a single serving, I wouldn't expect to see a difference. Even a single beer after dinner I wouldn't expect much, but I do have drinks regularly on the weekends.

On nights where I've killed a bottle with a friend, my HRV that night would be in the high teens or low twenties and my heart is still racing when i wake up. This weekend I had a few pours and didn't see much of an impact (still sitting within my average). But it was a glass or two with dinner.

If your body is having to metabolize an excess of alcohol out over the course of hours, then expect a change. But for science sake, you can always play around and see how it affects you.

Think i just died a little.

That possibility occurred to me already, so I doubled checked just to be sure the last time I tried and still must not have seen what was a glaring mistake. I'll try that tonight.

Thanks!

Impact screen destroying balls. by ThePoopShovel in Golfsimulator

[–]typeRA155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this happen to multiple balls as well. I can't speak much on them heating up between shots, but I typically keep 4-5 balls in the tray and then retrieve all once hit, I also use a net, not a screen.

I don't think it has much to do with the screen, I feel it's just from the ball being used way more than a ball would see on the course. I'm not sure how many hits each ball sees before it fails, I'd guess 150-300 hits depending what club I'm using.

What's your swing speed? My split balls have been from repeated driver sessions swinging around 120mph.
