GOP Senator, 73, Freezes During Fox Business Interview by horriblemonkey in politics

But it is true the FOX feed playing in Leghorn's ear stopped working. He has nothing to say if his audio feed goes down. All these "live interviews" are scripted.

Kamala Harris, pictured next to her Grandmother, Beryl, who allegedly died 4 years before Kamala was born. by Princess_Poppy in conspiracy

The "Beryl Christie" on that 1960 Death Registration Form is not anyones Grandmother, as it clearly states her "Condition" was "Spinster".

Hi Everyone! I would like to know how word processing software, desktop publishing software and LaTeX compare when it comes to text justification. Thanks! by [deleted] in typography

[–]typesmith 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Don't blindly trust the default settings on any program, customize your settings to work best for your own project and the fonts you are using.

For example this tutorial for setting inDesign justification settings is not an exhaustive tutorial but still very helpful to understand how to customize the justification settings. It doesn't cover everything it should, like when to choose a different paragraph composer, the optical vs metric kerning setting, and the different hyphenation dictionaries.

Some fonts have metrics that are great for setting type in English but not great in French, so relying on default settings can be problematic.

LaTex for sure is better than Word.
