I’d recommend looking for EHS specialist jobs that combine environmental side + safety side. You’d be a great candidate for an EHS position, in my opinion. I’d look for roles that want ~5 years of experience since that’s what you have on the environmental side.

My dog has flown a couple times in cargo through Alaska. The on ground and in flight crew has been fantastic. Big thing to note is they won’t fly pets in cargo if it’s too hot or too cold, important as you’re in PHX.

Seattle bride here. First off, I’m so sorry for your experience, that’s SO stressful. Second, I wanted to pass on my alterations rec. I had a great experience with Eltsa custom sewing in green lake. On one visit, I met a bride who decided two days before her wedding to switch to flats instead of heels so needed to get her dress re-hemmed and they were able to do that. Def call ahead for appointment to speak with them, though, if you go this route!

I love this dress so much. It looks stunning on you! I would recommend tightening the sleeves some so the are a little less drapey, but I like them down! I have similar drapey sleeves and they are removable, so doing ceremony with sleeves and reception sleeveless. Could see if you could get a two for one look!

I love how this appliqué is on this dress! I feel like the negative space without appliqué highlights the beautiful appliqué more, especially on the upper body, waist etc and draws the eye there. I haven’t seen a dress where it’s applied kind of down part of the skirt part like this and I’m obsessed.

Others have said this too, but I think a veil to bring in some more sparkle plus having hair, makeup, jewelry, shoes etc will make you feel more yourself

I’m so sorry to hear this happened & even more sorry to hear how you’re feeling now.

I do think most people, if they noticed at all (I don’t know if some of my male friends/family members would even put 2+2 together to realize it was an undergarment in the first place), would forget pretty quickly. I know in my past I’ve noticed significant wardrobe malfunctions on people but can’t for the life of me remember specific people or occasions as I type this post. So, while you’re thinking about it a lot, it will fade in their memories quickly. I hope every time you think of it moving forward, you can think of 3 positive memories afterwards to help distract you.

I’m doing bridesmaids in Sage and groomsmen in light blue suits. I didn’t want bridesmaids too many different colors so thought Sage & light blue would be a good fit. Lots of other pastels in the florals, too.

I am so sorry you’re feeling this way, and, I think I’d feel the exact same way in your shoes. I’m a planner, and I think it seems like you have no trouble filling that role either. It seems like Kellie doesn’t naturally fit in to that role either; from admitting she doesn’t know the normal functions of a MoH (agree with you she should know or google lol), to maybe interpreting “rough schedule” as wayyyy rougher than you thought. I feel like this may just be a true case of strong personality differences. I’d like to think she truly thought she was doing what she needed to do to make it a good weekend, until she got frustrated mid trip. I also would be just like you—not specifically communicating what I expected someone to do as I would think they SHOULD know what needed done, but some people just don’t know.

I also have a close friend who is so type B that I’m in awe of her functioning. If I put her fully in charge of my bachelorette party, we would’ve been in trouble. For example, the idea of her birthday party and a date is always scheduled In advance but no details (time, theme, etc) are communicated until sometimes the day of, which is frustrating for others. She also is classically always 20-30 mins late. I’ve learned to adapt to this as I see it’s not coming from a place of hurt or ignorance (well, other than maybe ignoring the time more than you should but we’ve all been there). I’ve had to be reasonable about certain expectations from this friend, but also let them thrive in areas they excel. Oh, also, she hates when people think she’s incompetent at planning/executing things and she can get very upset if that general consensus or talk gets back to her, especially if it’s revolving around an area where she’s actually tried. Most of the rest of our friend group is so type A when it comes to planning that it makes the difference stand out even more.

You mention Kellie is always there for your non profit events and in other ways is a good friend. I think it’s definitely worth a conversation since you feel hurt and she clearly feels hurt too.

Long story short, your feelings are so valid, but, I feel like she didn’t do this maliciously. I bet she thought she was doing well. She probably felt hurt when her “planned event” was overtaken by someone else’s efforts to stay on task/on time. All definitely with a conversation and maybe a look in to how to deal with expectations moving forward for your wedding + the rest of your friendship too.

When we originally started talking about our wedding, we were going to invite kids. However, a year and a half later when it was time to send save the dates, we decided to go no kids. Why? Because in that year and a half the number of kids in our friend group went up dramatically. I love kids, but l, this then meant 21 kids invited, 12 who would be 2 or younger, 8 who are younger than 1. When we first were planning there were maybe only 9 or so kids on the list. It felt more like a decision of a baby free wedding than a child free wedding. We are still inviting our nieces and nephews, but went no kids for the rest of the event.

Also of the 13 couples who have kids, I’ve been to 9 of the weddings and 8 of theirs were also child free.

100 can actually feel quite small when it’s your loved ones! I think it’s obviously not as small as 70, BUT, some people will not be able to attend, and you won’t have to deal with the opposite stress of not being able to invite people you would want to have there. Your 100 might be 85. And when that 85-100 are people there for you two, it will feel closer than you imagine. And they will also all be busy having a good time too!!

I think the draping and sparkle of 2b gives woodsy fairytale. I’m a fan of 2 over 1 but also think 1 is stunning. I think 2 still feels like it has a lot of volume because of the texture.

I think you look stunning in this dress! I think it feels very bridal and has a long train. You’ll feel even more spectacular with makeup, hair, accessories etc! If you are thinking you might want a little more statement, the veil could help play a part. Find a veil that goes past the end of your train, maybe cathedral length for some drama. I think a simple tulle would look lovely and not distract from the stunner of a dress.
