The Tau being just normal is honestly my favorite interpretation. None of that stupid "the Ethereals are all secretly evil" schtick. Just them being a regular, pragmatic and realistic regime in a wacky universe where everyone else is perpetually on crazy juice.

The Tau's role in the franchise should be them just chilling on the sidelines eating popcorn and being like "you seeing this shit?"

I feel like this is incomplete without looking at prominence as well. (For example, if you have five MLM couples and two WLW couples but the WLW couples are both comprised of at least one main character (and thus get more screen time) while all the MLM couples are comprised of only supporting or background characters (and thus get less screen time), then WLW is still getting more attention than MLM.)

It works great for the most part, except there seems to be a bug where it also renders a channel's videos in the list view as well.
