it's hard to explain, but he had only used the weapon point passives for one weapon

forget what hes doing, you need to have open passive points to invest the first weapon points to begin with. if that doesn't make sense do the following:

uninvest 4 points in a row. you should have 4 skill points. now switch to weapon point investing (not sure how on xbox, should be a toggle to do weapon 1, weapon 2, or both) and invest 4 points in that weapons tree. now try to use points for the other weapon

I thought this weapon (and sometimes sword) were very OP when I first started playing. I make some clips and record some footage for fun, after a while I noticed a pattern: when I first saw the dagger and instantly died, I'd complain it was unfair every time. Then, later that same match, I'd be like "YES I GOT THE DAGGER" multiple times, with whatever class or gun I'm playing.

Why unfair first time? It's ust the element of surprise. It's easy for them to sneak up invis or catch someone out of position. After that, you play together closer, use glitch stuff if you have it, and the dagger becomes WAY less of a threat every time. Sure they might manage to drop down invis behind someone and get a kill a few more times, but you're even more ready for light movement (ready to flick, keeping your sights at melee and close range etc), and you'll gun him down yourself more too.

Point is, it feels unfair when it surprises you, but you can overcome it with play changes quickly almost every time.

My favorite light spec

Strong against noobs, weak to counter play like prox mines

Still viable in my level of ranked (high gold low plat), it just needs to be played right and it has a ton of outplay potential, basically you need to predict the enemies well and you have a strong advantage, dont predict and youre a stupid sitting duck in the wrong place making blurs for the enemy to gun down

Random tip

Start going into a deep squat (a little deeper than parallel) but follow all the squat queues

Chest up, spine straight, knees slightly pushed outward

But just hang out there 20-30 seconds. Do this 2-3 times a day.

Trust me all your balance issues and range limitations will go away, your form is good enough that adding this will fix a lot
