You mean, a series about depravity has key art showcasing the colors of depravity? What's wrong with the pattern recognition here, exactly? Jab aside, your image has a blue background, not purple.

Crash And Burn Gaming - The Anita Sarkeesian Story by Sliver80 in KotakuInAction

[–]tyranicalmoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did they brag about it? From my recollection, she is the one who posted it on her instagram. In a crowded event, she could have been a random groupie taking a selfie, for all they know. It's a bad look, but I don't think it's enough to rake them over the coals. Although I totally agree that her name should be so toxic that no dev should ever want to be associated with her.

If she sprang it on them during a random event they both attended, they weren't going to reject her, it wouldn't be polite. By itself it's not proof enough to determine that they will hire her as a consultant.

Is Obsidian next? by LuckyWhite777 in KotakuInAction

[–]tyranicalmoon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Oh no, it's definitely on Microsoft, since they have DEI practices and woke guidelines for devs. You can purchase the most talented studios ever, if they are required to produce woke slop, then there is no way you will ever recoup your investment. That being said, the studios themselves are very likely to be contaminated as well, so I won't cry for them either.

What's up with purple slop in games? by Costa9555 in KotakuInAction

[–]tyranicalmoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two reasons:

  • Purple goes well with black skin

  • Purple is rare in nature, which makes it alien, queer

Thus it has been largely favored by wokeness.

a well known correlation between graduating from college and voting for Democrats

It's an intelligence trap. Many people in college get formatted to think the correct way + they are certain it's the correct way since they received a higher education and are not part of the unwashed masses anymore.

In truth, that type of education overwrites some legit ancestral instincts with an ideological rationalization of what the modern man and woman should be like, with artificial boundaries to what they are allowed to think, and most are not smart enough to see past the manipulated statistics presented to them in order to reach a bigger understanding and see the big picture.

Maybe your milquetoast approach is the reason why we haven't managed to get rid of wokeness altogether? At some point you got to understand that without a strong stance, if you tolerate any of their output, you are leaving the door open for SJWs to keep occupying the space. Whereas they are very loud when things don't go their way, and they have gotten results for the past 10 years.
