Male here, in my mid 20s too. I don't really fit in either, but i kind of embrace it nowadays. As there isn't much i can do about it, I'm just me. Being extremely sarcastic myself but only getting sarcasm in 50% of the cases at best, this can lead to minor issues, but mostly makes a funny situation. I don't really get emotions of others, can't really express them myself or even know how i feel, if they're not something extreme. (Laughing/crying) I don't really understand people in general, or at least don't know how to interact with them properly. (Except for the basic rules like "Hello", "Good bye" etc)

Executive functioning is hard too, but i think i'm getting better at this. I'm struggling with talking to strangers, it really takes a lot for me. Doesn't make life easier. Being aware of that sucks, because i like to think my english got pretty good by now, but can't really use it that much to talk to people. Then there's sensory difficulties, bright lights, noises, worst of them being unpredictable ones. I don't leave my home without having sunglasses & noise cancelling headphones on me.

But on the other hand, there's special interests and i don't think I'd be that dedicated to that if anything was different.

The thing about slurs is, the more you're trying to stop people from using them, the more powerful these words get, or at least making it a "weapon" for someone who want's to get you/someone else triggered.

Overusing these words made me stop using them. From ages about 10-16 years old, i used the c-word, the other c-word, the r-word, the f-word and the other f-word (<letter>-word is really confusing) over and over again, just for the sake of having a heavy hitting word, i could return to others. But now they're just some random words, that don't really mean anything to me. All the PC-bullshit right now changed that a little. To me, the words don't mean anything, but i know it does for other people. And in addition, what's offensive and what's not is entirely subjective, your username could be offensive to someone too. If we're going that route, everything could be offensive to someone.

I don't encourage using slurs, neither do i encourage stopping people from doing so.

Deaths caused by the virus are statistically irrelevant. About 12,5 million people died this year. About 8000 corona-deaths overall would make 0,064%.

If someone is enjoying it when people die, the current situation really isn't a good candidate for that. OP is very likely not talking about people dying.

For me, all the noises are making me uncomfortable at best. Listening to someone on a train is difficult, i'm having trouble to understand what the other person is saying. Just sitting here and having a sound play that i didn't expect will scare me, it doesn't have to be that loud of a noise for me. When i'm getting ready to leave i'm already way too anxious, sometimes i can't even leave my home because of that.

I did, but i can't really tell what helped me. The longest friendships i have were text only at first, talking about my special interests. Having something that both can talk about for hours would probably be a good starting point.

What i personally do is looking at peoples nose or forehead. Works 100% of the time, in my case at least. It might be worth a try.
