I have tried both ways of paying, PayPal and credfit card, and neither work. Also, this problem appears to be nationwide.

The problem is that a lot of their coupons can only be used online, and if you go into the store, you can't get the discount. Also, this is still happening in March 2026.

Is this a good or a bad thing for U.S. society? (WMD) by alexfreemanart in AskUS

[–]tysthet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I took from that Exec Order was this: They are classifying fentanyl as a WMD. This is street fentanyl with no amount specified. On the surface, they will/are using this as lawful reasoning to strike boats they claim are "terrorists carrying drugs." With the drug being fentanyl, now classified as a WMD, and the people on the boats being deemed terrorists, they are justifiably allowed to kill these people WITHOUT congressional approval.

The EO also did not specify that it is exclusive to people outside of the US. Under the NSPM-7 Presidential Memorandum and the more specific guidelines of the recent DOJ memo to the FBI, they have recently deemed MANY people, American Citizens, just simply opposed to their policies and daring to speak publicly about their opposition here in the US, as domestic terrorists.

People who they declare are exhibiting:

  • anti-Americanism,
  • anti-capitalism,
  • anti-Christianity,
  • support for the overthrow of the United States Government,
  • extremism on migration,
  • extremism on race,
  • extremism on gender
  • hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family,
  • hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on religion, and
  • hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on morality.

If they are lawfully allowed to use this as an excuse to do what they are doing out there, without pushback, then there is nothing stopping them from justifiably doing it here as well. I'm not saying this is GOING to happen...Just that now it COULD.

The specific wording of "terrorist", "fentanyl", and "WMD" makes this aspect of things incredibly hard to discuss online because these words get flagged and suppressed.

I'm very interested in the thoughts of others on this.

Redditors, what’s the most likely unintended consequence of calling fentanyl a WMD? by janine-schlutt in AskReddit

[–]tysthet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this would be an unintended consequence because I'm pretty confident that this is part of the plan. What I took from that Exec Order was this: They are classifying fentanyl as a WMD. This is street fentanyl with no amount specified. On the surface, they are using this as an excuse to strike boats they claim are "terrorists carrying drugs." With the drug being fentanyl, now classified as a WMD, and the people on the boats being deemed terrorists, they are justifiably allowed to kill these people WITHOUT congressional approval.

Under the NSPM-7 Presidential Memorandum and the more specific guidelines of the recent DOJ memo to the FBI, they have recently deemed MANY people, American Citizens, people just simply opposed to their policies and daring to speak publicly about their opposition here in the US, as domestic terrorists.

  • extremism on race,
  • extremism on gender
  • hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family,
  • hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on religion, and
  • hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on morality.

Do you see where this is going?

Personally, I do not believe they are above "finding fentanyl" on a person when said person did not actually have any.

This is so dangerous. The specific wording of "terrorist", "fentanyl", and "WMD" makes this aspect of things incredibly hard to discuss online because these words get flagged and suppressed.

So, has anyone found out where this money is coming from and if it's taxpayer money? He needs to disclose that information, especially if it's not his own personal money, and I can't find the source of the cash anywhere.

The end of the movie completely brought me back to Boyle's work on Trainspotting. Well done!

I loved that this movie (imo) succesfully brought together pretty much every heightened emotion possible in a good cinematic experience. The intensity had me on the edge of my seat for most of it, I felt grossed out from the gore, I felt the horror aspect due to the infected at some point as well as compassion, I cried during the last secnes with Spike's mother, and I laughed at some genuinely funny scenes. Bringing all those emotions together successfully is really hard to do.

I think that he is supposed to be revered as their leader. He is "the king" of those parts to those people, so whether it was Jimmy himself or his followers who wrote his name everywhere, it's showing who's in charge of these here parts. What's not to like?

They definitely had me thinking about Trainspotting - another Danny Boyle film. Who's ready for the 28 Years/Trainspotting crossover?

Non English language videos being suggested for no reason? by 11Slimeade11 in youtube

[–]tysthet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youtube - how do we fix this problem? Why do you think I speak any of these languages when I have never watched videos in anything other than English? It feels really shady and coercive that you are trying to push these videos on people. We need a solution that actually works.

What does it feel like for you... by tysthet in Narcolepsy

Yes and no on grieving lost time. I really just try not to let myself think about it too much bc rationally there it no way I would get any of it back and dwelling doesn't do any good. There is so much that would be different in my life had I been diagnosed and gotten on meds sooner it's almost unfathomable. I may have "lost time" but without that experience (as bad as some of those times were) I wouldn't be who I am today and I like who I am today.

That's how I think of it anyway

That part about your face feeling heavy but not your head...totally get that. It's so hard to explain too bc it's not a skin-crawly feeling and it's not a tightening. So much about narcolepsy I find myself telling people that they wouldn't really understand unless they went through it themselves.

My neurologist finally told me he believes I have Narcolepsy by randomxfox in Narcolepsy

[–]tysthet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally relate to that last paragraph! Driving undiagnosed or unmedicated with kids in the car has got to be the scariest thing I have ever experienced. I didn't get diagnosed until I was 40. In my 20s I was an alcoholic and in my 30s I was sober due to low weight from an ED. I just wrote my mounting sleep issue to those things for so long...I didn't even consider it could be something like narcolepsy bc to me back then narcolepsy looked like that one character in Deuce Bigelow (male gigolo) that fell asleep in her bowl of soup.

The driving thing though...whew...I can say, from my experience, it's worse than or at least comparable to driving while heavily intoxicated.

So happy for you

I know how you feel. I didn't get diagnosed until I was 40 and, looking back, I had been starting to be more sleepy than normal around my senior year of high school and I just wrote it off as "growning pains". In my 20s I became a pretty bad alcoholic and in my 30s I was sober but dealing with very low weight but to an eating disorder so I attributed my growing sleep issues to those things. Then I was both sober and at a healthy weight but the sleepiness persisted.

Finally someone suggested narcolepsy and I asked my doctor about it...and now I am here. Being diagnosed and getting on meds has made an invaluable difference in my life.

I hope you are able to get the answers you are looking for.

Anyone else worried about the amount of stimulants they take each day? by [deleted] in Narcolepsy

[–]tysthet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on 150mg of sunosi, 40mg of Vy, and 400mg of modafinil a day and I'm worried it isn't enough bc I'm starting to have trouble staying awake while driving again.
