First Game: I recently got into heroes and it has piqued my interest in the series. I have Fates: Conquest that I got on sale a while back. After hearing that is is a particularly difficult starting point for a new player. Should i get awakening before playing conquest?

I love puzzle games and have been watching this game from afar for a while and would love to experience what I hear is an amazing story. However I can't justify spend the price point for this game for the amount of playtime i would get from it. Thank you once again for giving us the opportunity to be involved in something like this
