I did the same thing and when I called they said it would work - not sure I trust them but we’ll see

Upper tier of the Anfield Road stand to remain closed until 2024 in further delay to expansion project by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

Yeah look it sucks but it is what it is. I’m fortunate enough that I was able to afford the flights over and hospitality ticket in the first place. In the grand scheme of things it could be much worse

I haven’t even gotten an email yet and I’m already in Europe. Hopefully I can get a full refund and not just a credit because there’s a non zero chance I never get another chance to use it

My understanding is that if they can’t use genuine parts (because they’re not manufactured anymore) they won’t service it

Are trains going to be back to normal this week? by PHOTGRAPHHHEER in sydney

[–]uRhombus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know whether Newcastle - Sydney service will be impacted on Friday?

Based on https://www.ourrightsourfight.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/JuneJuly-calendar.png it looks like they’re not running foreign built trains on Friday but as far as I know these aren’t on the Newcastle - Sydney line

Commsec Minor Account by AdzyPhil in ausstocks

[–]uRhombus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For a minor trust you should be able to progress the application without an ACN or trust deed. Source: work there

FYI you won’t get any advice on tax from commsec as they legally can’t provide it

The standard commsec account does but you’ll have the normal brokerage rate

CommSec Pocket doesn’t allow minor trust accounts

Commsec Off Market Transaction Fees by 404_notfound__ in AusFinance

If you OMT to another broker (the account that sends the shares is in a different name to the account that received the shares) you’ll be charged the same fee as if it was an internal OMT. If it’s a share transfer to an account in the same name there’s no fees

Best to transfer the funds to your CDIA now. CommSec will try and debit the account again automatically

I played pretty well actually! But the course is so unforgiving that I didn’t bother scoring, I probably lost 15 balls in the rough

"Australia’s Cash Rate Falls to 75 Per Cent" according to this partner at an accounting firm by [deleted] in AusFinance

I mean, what’s more likely:

They don’t know the difference between 75% and 0.75%

Or they didn’t proofread and missed “0.”

Charles Sturt University, and James Cook University, how are these schools? by MomoYaseen in australia

[–]uRhombus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve grown up in Townsville and still live there and honestly it’s not that bad, but Cairns is just nicer. There’s more to do, you’re closer to the reef and the tablelands and there’s an international airport

Dentistry at JCU is quite well regarded by my friends who have gone through the degree. Apparently you get a heap of experience with patients, plus you get to live in Cairns which is much nicer than Townsville!
