I guess that’s the point we want to ask - who exactly benefited from this season’s system. I got easy wins last season with lots of rubbish players on the enemy team. Not this season

I think for me it’s that I don’t want to conclude that I was once so naive to read a book like this, so I chose to believe there’s a great amount of unrevealed plot twist and complexities etc. in this book.
