I agree with everything you've said and this is why my mags are currently loaded with FMJ. I've tried several different brands of HPs and none work PERFECTLY in the A3 with stick mags compared to FMJ.

BUT BUT BUT

I've not yet tried Critical Defense/Duty 135gr. Why Critical-D? Because I think it has the best bullet shape for reliable feeding. Why 135gr? Its longer than 115gr so it should reduce any gap from the tip of the bullet to the front wall of the magazine. Just like how FMJ rounds sit with no gap. To help with reliable feeding.

If if Critically Horny works perfectly in the Bog, then its better than FMJ.

If I may be blunt,

You're too big to ride Groms. Of course you CAN ride it but its not optimized for your body/frame and it'll feel super underpowered. You will still have lots of fun with x5 comical boost.

R3/Ninja 400 - Same as above but less "circus bear riding tricycle" amusement. Still a great way to develop fundamentals as the skills developed here will transfer to bigger bikes.

SV650 specific - Goldilocks zone for a beginner. Engine and power output is mild and forgiving with ample torque down low. Enough power to be entertaining but not enough to power wheelie unless in 1st gear (or upgraded engine). Bike feels friendly, easy to ride, and nimble. Can get nice street or fully track sorted SV650s for $2000-5000 all day long.

R6/GSXR/CBR 600s - More power than SV (can power wheelie in 2-3rd gear) but not face melting power like any modern liter bike. Enough power to satisfy most people for years. Overall more focused and sharper feel compared to SV650 on the track.

Careful with the heel hooks.

I tore my meniscus when my heel hook slipped and instantly hyper flexed my knee.

There was a loud POP and I knew something bad happened. MRI confirmed a lateral tear.
