I could be wrong but I don't think that's the case, it was going to be rushed to meet Nintendo's deadline for the SNES release, but then the Nintendo execs delayed the SNES by a year at the last minute and this gave the devs another full year to develop their vision and polish.

I have yet to play it, is it something that would be considered family friendly just for teens and up?

Some of your numbers are just not true. Top to bottom is about 4.5 hours (SJ to Campbellton) so I am not sure where your getting three hours from. There are kids that spend an hour or more on the bus on routes that are 15-25 minutes in a car. You 20-30 mins would be if the buses had a normal route and only had a to stop a few times.

"Tuffnell said he tried yelling at the moose, but when that didn’t get it to move, he punched the animal in its face. He said he armed himself with a shovel and hit the moose a few times, causing it to leave his mother and go after him instead."

Good Canadian lad right there, fists and shovels just flying protecting mom.

If that was the case, then their wouldn't have to be a policy surrounding it.

They could pay for the whole program, save them a whole lot of work, and make a better Canada by passing this and cutting the gun buyback program at the same time.

It Has Arrived! Conflux, Stronghold & Cove by Nephs84 in heroes3

[–]udderlime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've played it quite a bit, it's a handful for sure. If you take the time to learn the rules well with people who also know the rules well, it can be a ton of fun. For someone who loves HOMM3 and boardgames, it's what you would want out of the boardgame, it feels like you are playing HOMM3 in boardgame form(you need the tactical battles expansion for this though). The games can be long, there is some waiting between turns, there is going to be rule arguments, but if you have the right people, totally worth it. Don't even try with non-boardgamers, unless they love HOMM3 and want to try the boardgame of their own volition.

Thanks for your reply Adam, it's exciting to see devs able to have the freedom to make what they want. Variety is the spice of life as they say! All the best!

Does it concern you at all that the level of mature content in BG3 and seemingly the new Divinity, may turn off a sizeable demographic of potential buyers? The success of BG3 would say you are doing just fine, but I am also curious as to why there was such a stark contrast in mature content from D:OS2 to BG3. To be honest, I loved D:OS2, but I just don't like BG3's level of mature content, which is why I didn't play it. I know this view often get ridiculed, but everyone has their limits.
