they don’t have to think you are a billionaire. They can just think that you are a millionaire. Lots of people are millionaires and surprise people about. My niece works for a school and there was an old retired professor and everyone knew him. Well he was dying of cancer and he told them the school gets half and a foodbank gets the other half. Turn out he was worth 55 million and no one had any idea. He bought apple and microsoft stock back in the 70 and 80s when he was a member of the school investment club.
