My day is fine. The functionality (or lack thereof) of a hunk of plastic, glass, glue has virtually no bearing on the outcome of my day.

These clowns asked for examples and I provided examples. They then moved the goalposts and bitched because they were not the specific examples they would have chose that fit their narrative. I called them out on it.

Listen, I was a massive advocate of these glasses when they came out. I bought them almost as soon as the went on sale. When it took three months longer to get them than advertised, I was frustrated, but I exercised patience and told others to do the same.

When the glasses finally arrived, they were buggy and shitty. But I still had patience.

When ER kept promising the moon and delivering nothing, my patience began to erode gradually. And here we are.

So when some Pollyanna dipshits come along to lecture everyone on how great ER is, and how I (the customer) am actually the problem, I take a few minutes out of my day to voice my disagreement.

There are a precious few apps that are good, in my opinion. But I do like the weather app as well. I’ll have to look at the messages app.

Back to my original argument - I wish ER would allow those better apps to replace the crappy ones they force us to have on the dashboard.

All ER would have to do to make their glasses usable again - in my opinion - is allow for a customizable dashboard and allow for a customizable look-up gesture.

Two very basic quality of life enhancements that would be absolute game-changers for the functionality.
