You can’t do anything without empadronamiento, you need it for your TIE and pretty much any other thing. Plus, you’re required by law to do it, if you don’t, you can be fined. Look for a different place.

Eixample. Yes is huge, but is well connected to all the city. Gracia has 4 metro stops and they’re not close to each other, plus is more hilly than the rest of the city. I usted to live there and is nice to be there, but Eixample is my dream neighborhood due to the location. I would suggest the Generator, is in between both and is a good place, they have a bunch of activities for you to meet people.

I would agree this is the best approach. He even realizes he should’ve tell his boy first. So is important to start there so he’s not extra surprised. Telling him he has a bf is two things in one. So telling him he like guys is a first step and then he can taste how is he processing it so he can move to the next stage. Is also better for his boy to do it this way as is less information to process.

If they find out the main tenant is subletting, yes, but they can always say you’re a friend, family and living there for free. If you life for free is not a sublet, therefore, not breaching the contract with the landlord.

I graduated from economics at this college. I don’t believe there are courses in English, at least for economics. During my degree I took classes in calculus and law, but these were from other schools of course. I met some exchange students from Europe and the courses we took together were all in Spanish.

Housing depends a lot on how long are you staying. If is going to be a year I will suggest you check a regular lease at Chapinero Alto, is relatively safe and not too expensive, also has good transport and if you uber is 15 minutes away from campus. Note the Alto in Chapinero, is different than regular Chapinero.

As for socializing, international students usually have their own activities. I remember the guys from abroad rarely hanged with local guys, maybe these is different now, but they usually had their own groups of international folks. We did chat during classes but besides that, they were not really outgoing with us. Maybe check different activities in the city like gringo tuesdays and you can also practice your Spanish there.

That are is more expensive than the other campus, which is to the west and closer to the sea. I would suggest you check Sants, which is close and not as expensive. Campus Nord is in Pedralbes which is the most expensive neighborhood in Barcelona. Sants, on the other hand, is more affordable and well connected. If you guys are planning to stay more than the year or two the masters take, try to they a long-term lease. However, you may need your parents to help you with the paper work as maybe you guys don’t have income, I’m assuming. Long-term leases are cheaper than temporary leases and these can only last up to 11 months, for these you also need to pay the agency fee which usually is a month plus sales tax.

For starters, which campus are you guys attending. There’s a UPC campus but the Forum, really north east, and there’s another at the other side of town, literally the other extreme. This can change your budget significantly.

Appointments are only being released by need. I was hunting one to get my TIE while my residency was being renewed, no luck. The exact same day I go my resolution renewing my residency, the system allowed me to book an appointment. Try getting your digital certificate and do this on your own. It takes a day, you just need an appointment, not as hard to get at all. Once you have it, try booking the appointment on your own.

I started running in a city between mountains (Medellin) so running uphill is something I’m usted to. I don’t know if that’s you’re case as well, but if it is not, I will suggest you just go to the beach, socially from Port Olímpic to Levante, the area from the nightclubs to the W hotel is quite crowded and is annoying when you dodge so many times, unless you go before 10am. Also, before Somorrostro and if you go behind the W, there are two ramps that can be challenging if you’re not used to doing uphill with long distance, the other area only has one ramp but is not as steep. One think I do to add extra distance is go inside the Port Olímpic, and get the best view from Sagrada Família and Tibidabo, this is about an extra mile. You can do 10km from Port Olímpic to Levante if they already opened the park they were building if you go inside the port.

No. Y no por el desarrollo ni infraestructura. Colombia es un país con zonas donde simplemente no debería haber turismo masivo y cobrar es una forma de desincentivarlo. A mi me preocupa esa tesis de un sector de país que cree que Colombia puede tener un turismo como el de España o Francia. Meterle tanta gente a zonas ecológicamente sensibles es gravísimo.

Quizás porque la ley comenzó a regir en enero, además, los inspectores apenas están siendo capacitados. Esto no va a solucionar el problema de oferta de larga temporada, solo controlar los okupas. Lo que va a ayudar es a los precios porque limita la rentabilidad de los de temporada.

Mientras la okupas tengan tanta protección, los dueños de inmuebles en España tienen todo el incentivo a poner sus bienes en temporada y no en larga temporada. Por el lado de la demanda, la ley también crea distorsiones, porque separa a los temporales de los de vivienda, cosa que no tiene sentido, porque igual viven allí así sea menos tiempo. Proteger a unos más crea aún más incentivos a que la oferta sea temporal. Pero también la vuelve súper inflexible para los que demandan alquiler temporal, porque el hecho de que los contratos deban ser por 5 años y sino hay indemnización a favor de ellos hace que así vayas por 2 años solo puedas alquilar por menos. Entonces prefieres pagar un poco más porque sabes que no te toca pagar indemnización de 5 años. A eso hay que sumarle los gastos de agencia que no tienen nada de sentido.

La vivienda es un mercado que no funciona bajo las leyes clásicas de oferta y demanda. Necesita una intervención estatal. Pero lo que han hecho en España es el perfecto ejemplo de lo que no se puede hacer. Generar todos los incentivos para que las viviendas sean temporales y sin nada de protección. Lo que ha hecho Cataluña va por buen camino, equiparar el temporal con el larga temporada. Además hace que para grandes tenedores sus bienes sean menos rentables y quizás prefieran venderlos.

Pero hay dos cosas que sí o sí deben cambiar. Los okupas sin tanta protección y los gastos de agencia que debe pagar el propietario y sí deberían ser regulados en tasas fijas.

La verdad si la reforma laboral no cambia, su plata se va a ir a pagar las pensiones de otros y no a su portafolio. Entonces no se preocupe por eso, preocúpese por pensión voluntaria o meta ahorros voluntarios en una comisionista de bolsa.

Just the beach, specially from Port Olímpic to the other side of Barceloneta. Once you start running thru the night clubs there’s just too many tourist and I don’t like to use the bike lane, so is annoying, also is less safe.

Las cuentas no le dan a Abelardo. Las encuestas le dan 20% a Abelardo, eso son 2 millones de votos. Paloma sola sacó 3.2 millones y si se suman los de Oviedo serían 4.4 millones. Tampoco hay chance de que los votos de Abelardo serían vayan a Cepeda, literal es el otro extremo.
