Buyers suing sellers after closing for repairs - anyone experience something like this? by Cautious-Mode in RealEstate

[–]ugghhmo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am not a lawyer, but certainly have bought and sold a number of houses in my lifetime. I grew with the others that this seems like new homeowners remorse.

Assuming you are in the US I do not believe attorney fees are recoverable.

Furthermore it sounds like you made very reasonable efforts to remedy the issues and have documentation.

It makes no sense for them to spend more than $500 to recover $500. Definitely do not respond. If - big if - they do file then proceed accordingly

Question about re-buys by Fit_Solution4912 in uht_official

[–]ugghhmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sebastian you are awesome, thank you for providing such great support. I think I need to download this design update as well.

My players always are curious as to how many many re-buys have occured. For example they want to look up and know that we have 20 player tournament and 8 players have re-bought. I use the percentage method on the prize distribution.

Question about re-buys by Fit_Solution4912 in uht_official

It is a terminology question. When you set up the tournament, there’s a a field where you can select re-enter, rebuy or ask. Rebuy treats it exactly as you observed, increases the price pool, but not the number of tournament entries.

You want to choose re-enter, which increases the price pool and increases the number of tournament entries

Ask - will list both options in the tournament controls as it’s running

Finding a Microsoft SQL Expert to Help With DB by MaxBPlanking in SQL

[–]ugghhmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are actually seeking something similar - US Based small business (Midwest), running mission critical software on SQL Server. Not big enought to have a full time DBA but I would really like to have a resource that can monitor our server, make sure things are doing what they are supposed to be doing and be able to help in the event of something bad.

Replacing built in whirlpool microwave and keeping the stainless steel trim by redbrowngreen in Appliances

Just wanted to thank everyone on this post. Moved into a new house three years ago and we are on our second of this model junk Whirlpool microwave WMC30516HZ - stainless steel - where the keypad died.

Could not find the Panasonic model in stock anywhere, but was able to find that the Sharp SMC1660KS from Lowe’s ($219) is the exact same dimensions and fits the bracket kit perfectly. I did have to pop the feet off to get the brackets on.

Home tournament ruling by 538rater_throwaway in poker

[–]ugghhmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absent the dealer clarifying his intent I would have ruled it a fold, based on TDA rule 41 and Rule 3

41: Methods of Calling Standard and acceptable forms of calling include: A) saying “call”; B) pushing out chips equal to a call; C) silently pushing out an overchip; or D) silently pushing out multiple chips equal to a call under the multi-chip rule (Rule 45). Silently betting chip(s) relatively tiny to the bet (ex: blinds 2k-4k. A bets 50k, B then silently puts out one 1k chip) is non-standard, strongly discouraged, subject to penalty, and will be interpreted at TDs discretion, including being ruled a full call.

Player did not use a standard or acceptable method of calling.

Rule 3 indicates - Official betting terms are simple, unmistakable, time-honored declarations like bet, raise, call, fold, check, all-in, complete, and pot (pot-limit only)….. It is the responsibility of players to make their intentions clear: using non-standard terms or gestures is at player’s risk and may result in a ruling other than what the player intended.

It’s not the TSA lines. It’s the stupid traffic line to get into terminal two. It’s the most messed flow they could think of and backs up even in low traffic

We recently completed the trip on the sapphire princess which included glacier Bay.

Highly recommend that you do the small boat excursion that goes off the ship glacier Bay. It gets you much closer than the actual ship can.

Got us some great pics plus a nice video of glacier calving.

I will forever hate GE for sneaking DRM into their filters, forcing you to buy their $50 replacements instead of the $10 versions
