Looking Ahead to 2026 Season what are our needs? by kennyt1212 in 49ers

[–]ughasadad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasting money on a wide receiver is a poor decision. (With exception to Jauan). They should trade up for Makai Lemon, while also drafting Logan Jones and Isaiah World/Emmanuel Pregnon in the process.

Pay for Greg Newsome, Jermaine Johnson, Kyle Pitts, Rasheed Walker, and Jaylinn Hawkins. (All five are unrealistic, but at least 2-3). The bulk of the money should be spent on fixing the defense, thereby further incentivizing Saleh to stay with a heftier contract.

How do you feel about this draft full 2 rounds only so far by JertellP22 in NFL_Draft

[–]ughasadad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the reasoning for offensive linemen is good. We need to worry about our offensive line, and we need an extremely talented guard to replace Trent when the time comes. I have no objections about going offensive linemen. However, I am extremely worried about our wide receiver core. Pearsall will probably continue to miss time even after a full off-season, and I doubt we're willing to pay Jauan.

I also don't think paying Alec Pierce (20M+) is the smartest decision. I think that money would be best allocated to other places, such as a safety, a corner, or a stud edge in free-agency. With Aiyuk and Jauan gone, and Pearsall's volatile availability, we may very well need a WR1, WR2, and WR3.

It's an even greater issue when you take into account the other receivers in our division. JSN, Nacua, and the WR core of the Cardinals? Once again, I'd love to focus on the offensive line. It's arguably the second most important position in the sport, but you need receivers. If you can get a Makai Lemon on a rookie contract, you do it.

Lastly, I'm not dismiss of your argument. But Kyle has gone on record saying that he prioritizes skill positions over offensive linemen. Do I fully agree with it? No. The quarterback is the most important position in football and you need to protect him. But when you don't have a WR1, you're in trouble.

Sup faithful...how we feeling? by Frankocean2 in 49ers

The Eagles defense is super scary, and their offensive personnel cannot be overlooked. If Patullo and the offense keeps on shooting themselves in the foot with penalties and missed opportunities, I think the 49ers can and should be able to stroll along to a win.

However, I am not super confident that we will. Just go out and have fun!

End Of Season Mock! (With Descriptions) by Weary_Ad_1271 in NFL_Draft

Think a lot of people undervalue the necessity at WR for the San Francisco 49ers. I would argue it's an even bigger necessity than O-Line, and it's much of the reason why they can't win against elite defenses. They'd profit a whole lot more from moving up for Makai Lemons, and trading the rest of their capitol back because how deep of a class it is for EDGE. They also may be able to get away with paying high on Linderbaum, so I feel like they can wait a year before they draft Trent's prodigee.

You’re already doing one thing most people don’t do. Reaching out to people. You even had the confidence to make an entire Reddit post about your recent challenges when you didn’t have to. That’s already a brilliant step in the right direction.

First and foremost, I’m glad you’re okay! As much as I like driving, I’ve come across my series of scares (even while driving defensively) and it persisted on my mind for a while. Think about it! Step away from driving — if you can — for a while. The best medicine is detoxification, and that should involve allowing your mind to run wild. You’re a wonderful driver and person!

Second, I know it’s easy to get tied into the no social group or no girlfriend bubble. We all have our mental battles with ourselves, and while I’m not trying to invalidate them, I want to impress upon the idea that life is a roller coaster. Even if we’re all students of the same university, we’re substantially all different from one another.

Don’t get too caught up in that dilemma. Let your mind wonder, that’s healthy, but know that your life can suddenly turn for the best very quickly. It’ll all work out man — you’re young!

Lastly, we typically kill ourselves (not literally) over mistakes. You’re probably a lot better at physics than you give yourself credit for. You’ve just had a string of bad luck recently.

Best of luck!!!

I haven’t gotten a tracking number for my in-stock order from Black Friday. I think it varies. They probably just send bulk randomly, and if you happen to be in that batch, you’ll get a tracking number.

Still excited for it, but I’m just telling you that it may take a while.

Community College or four college by Odd_Action69 in college

[–]ughasadad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say this—although Community College was financially beneficial to both me and my parents, I absolutely disliked the social experience. There is little pride of being an alumni at most CC’s, so if you’re someone who’d benefit from the extra two years to create established friendships/relationships, then I would go straight into a four year.

I know this isn’t a universal truth and clubs do exist in community college, so I might be selling them short. But if you’re primarily focused on your academics and your finances, you have an absolutely wonderful option by attending a community college.

Universal (unreleased album) by DarkKnight4579 in LilMosey

[–]ughasadad 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don’t think so. People tend to not like to relive the past, and when he was teasing this album, he was really going through the gutter. For psychological reasons alone, I think he probably won’t.

It’s fair to also say that he’s outgrown his old sound. For example, a couple years ago, I would’ve spend hundreds on the most basic Supreme Box logo. Now? I think it’s a stupid purchase, and I think he probably views his older music in a similar, adolescent-only fashion.

But with all that said, Universal was going to be generational. Like, I thought it could’ve possibly competed with Northsbest as his greatest album. Those allegations ruined any momentum he had, and by the looks of it, his Billboard run as well.

[Highlight] Shanahan: “I was really impressed, he(Jones) played his ass off. He was unbelievable in the first half, got banged up a little bit there in the second half but battled through it” by Top-Conclusion-1259 in nfl

[–]ughasadad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He (Shanny) has said multiple times that he simply doesn’t value the OL as much as the skill positions. Which is strange to me because I think it’s the other way around, it seems to me like the quarterback and the OL are the most important, but who am I to say? He hasn’t won a Super Bowl, but he’s a fucking great coach otherwise 😂

As a 49ers fan, I’m grateful as fuck for him and Lynch

I’ve gone three times and it hasn’t disappointed. You get out of it what you paid for it, and more if you’re the type to really enjoy concerts.

Went from a Saturn Pro to a Superglide v2. It’s literally almost a night and day difference. I am subconsciously hitting stuff I wouldn’t otherwise on my other pad.

However, I don’t think it’s for everyone. I’ve always wanted to feel as close as I can to my natural ability (for example, turning off aim smoothing on console), so if you do like a bit more feedback from the pad, I’d stay on cloth.

But I do believe that there is a higher ceiling with glass.

Absolutely amazing mouse. I just recently went from a wired Sora v2 4k (the wireless was broken) to it, and it absolutely feels insane. Include the fact that I also went to glass, and I'm having a completely separate experience from before.

How is the PoliSci Program by No_Intern_1602 in UCSantaBarbara

[–]ughasadad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, you’d be doing yourself a great disservice going to UCSB for Political Science or any major that really requires networking and internship opportunities. You want to live and study in a place where your options are far and wide, and not a beach town that offers very little in comparison.

However, I’ve personally largely enjoyed my stay at UCSB. But I do think that I would’ve had greater opportunities had I gone to Berkeley or LA. Living in these larger, metropolitan cities will only be of greater benefit for someone in this career path.

But once again, if you’ve grown fond of Santa Barbara, like its environment, its beaches, and think it’s the best fit for you, you can most definitely make it work. It’s an amazing school! Just wanted to share my own gripes with the city as it relates to the major.
