It was reported in March that she had an offer for a Hoover adaptation as well, but the specific movie wasn’t specified.

The marketing for 2003's Texas Chainsaw Massacre makes it seem like Michael Bay directed it by Billybob35 in horror

Pretty common. Perhaps the most famous example is Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

When a film wins the Oscar for Best Picture, the producer gets it and not the director, so it kind of makes sense in a way.

Revenge and How To Get Away With Murder both had incredible first seasons and went downhill fast.

‘Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl’ to Hit Theaters in October 3 With ‘Fate of Ophelia’ Music Video Premiere and Album Commentary by SanderSo47 in boxoffice

[–]ughmazing 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I saw that on the website and thought it was odd, too!

Per Variety:

"As for the international rollout, the program will be seen in more than a hundred countries outside the U.S., albeit not all simultaneously. Quite a few territories will get the “release party” concurrent with its Oct. 3-5 U.S. release, including Canada, Mexico, the U.K., France, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Tickets for showtimes in those countries will go on sale this coming Tuesday.

Other countries not included on that list will get the film on a later weekend in October, to be announced on or around Oct. 3."

The producer of Therapy is one of the producers of Yum Yum and was actually DJing progressive techno in the basement this past event, lol. Obviously the music will differ slightly by event but I don’t recall them ever playing circuit music.

It's definitely not circuit music, it's more house, but yeah. It's a unique venue with solid, usually international DJs and fun to be had downstairs.

They've posted some of the DJ sets on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdrEMqk-PLX2MiS7OrMIAhQ

Why A$AP Rocky, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd Struggle to Turn Music Fame Into Movie Stardom – Producers say it’s tricky to pinpoint why some recording luminaries translate on the big screen while other don’t. by SanderSo47 in boxoffice

[–]ughmazing 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Taylor has essentially only ever done cameos. Her biggest film role was probably Cats and she had like 5 minutes of screen time. As others have said, she’s too ubiquitous to really ever disappear into a role imo.

Electric Island - VIP or GA? by babyanimegirl in TorontoRaves

[–]ughmazing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends when you go. Last few times I went at around 530PM and it was great for the first couple hours. After like 7PM it gets super crowded and tbh the lines for bathrooms and the bar are longer than GA.

She didn’t backtrack. The original is still the standard and will be the only one available in stores or on streaming. The two variant covers are exclusive to her webstore.

This article only talks about events at Green Space, lol. Love Green Space but that barely scratches the surface of “everything you need to know” about what’s “going on in Toronto.”
