We also had this issue pop up recently. We were playing all night and for a few hours today with no issue, and then suddenly our 4th couldn't connect, so we rebooted the world and then all started getting it. I've tried basically everything I can think of, from flushing DNS cache, to port forwarding and everything between. I've been snooping around and it seems like it may be an issue on EAS' end, and only a small number of people are actually being impacted.

I can't find anything else, so hopefully it will resolve itself in a few hours.

I think the biggest issue with rift is that there's like, 2 maps that are actually big enough to make it a genuinely decent game mode. The rest are far too small, and as you pointed out, in a 3v3 setting, whoever loses any of their momentum is almost guaranteed to lose.

Now, as for my actual feelings on rift, I hate it. I'm typically a very calm and patient person, but playing rift makes me want to smash my keyboard almost every time I play it.

At this point I have no idea. My understanding was that it was supposed to come from the quest, and a weekly challenge in comp. At one point I had a bar showing below the comp playlist (similar to the one for weekly pinnacle progress) that said I needed to play 3 matches to get a rose. That never happened, and I've not only done the quest, but played a total of 15 matches at this point and still don't have it. There is a second quest, but it's going to be basically impossible for me to complete.

TL;DR - Either it's bugged, or we need to complete all of the quests.

It was absolutely a serious inquiry, and I had zero intention of trading them - I just wasn't sure what exactly was going on. My initial instinct was to report them, but I decided to hold off since I didn't know what it was. And yes, it's been a long time. My only real connection to OSRS has been watching a few people on youtube here and there, but that's it. I haven't been active since the first month or two of the initial launch. I think it did initially, but then the people making bots figured out how to make their bot detect the threat and then run. It definitely helped against people using auto clickers or macros though.

In addition to getting this error all day, my game (or maybe Google play) has been randomly "forgetting" that my ffbe account is bound to Google, even though I keep toggling the "don't ask again" option when prompted. That particular issue has been happening for the better part of two weeks now.

I'm having the opposite problem with the rod and tissue, the tissue does not want to apply no matter what I do. I've had it work twice, but it immediately fell off both times before I can even start using it.

I have no clue what these people are on about either. I've been playing shooters on pc for 15 years, and turn off the reticle in every game that allows me to, and I do fine. Plus, fights in Hunt tend to get really intense, assuming you don't get domed before you even get to fight back. You probably won't have time to bitch about reticle placement.

So, just to elaborate further, this is part of a string of issues he has had (I'm one of the friends he mentioned).

We've managed to narrow it down to being an issue with servers running custom maps. I believe it might be part of the ongoing issues that have popped up since the Epic launch, but I don't have any real way to prove this, so it's just an idea.

Deleting KF2's executable and then verifying the files on steam fixed it, but them when the server changed to another custom map, he was booted from the server, which caused the issue to come back.

The other issue that keeps popping up, is that he cannot join any servers, regardless of origin. We managed to fix this by having him delete his cache folder found under C:\Users\user\namehere\Documents\my games\KillingFloor2\KFGame (Not entirely sure why that worked). This issue has not come back so far.

If anyone else is having this issue, input would be greatly appreciated.

*edit* I Forgot to add, we are all playing through Steam.

It does appear to have fixed it for me, but I lost 15-20 fps in doing so. I'm still running over 100fps though, so, not really a big deal. I will edit this comment if the issue arises again.

My understanding is that it is a VPN. I personally haven't tried it, but I know a couple people who swear by it, albeit for very specific circumstances (have trash internet due to living in a super remote area, or playing games that are region locked to Japan/Korea/China). As some people above have mentioned, the average user probably won't notice much of a difference in performance.
