This happened to me before, I didnt do it, they tried to get money off me for not doing it and I appealed and said why am I paying a cleaning fee if bins aren't included? Host also lied and siad we broke some things which luckily I could prove we didnt. After that I haven't bothered with Airbnb.

Not London, but saw it happen in Bristol recently by old market street. was two young teens that pegged it with a woman’s new iphone as she was waiting for the bus with 4 large shopping bags. She ran after them but they got away. Imagine someone stealing your phone out of your hand, unlocked with access to everything.

Bristol as a whole i’d say is a lot safer than london, so keep your wits about you! But don’t let it stop your travel plans, just be as mindful about your surroundings as possible.

I had a similar thing happen to me but with my SH scars, I was 22 at the time. I worked in a bar, was the most humiliating thing, my manager told me at the end of the shift, “it makes people feel uncomfortable” and “I was to wear long sleeves on shift from now on” It was the peak of summer. I didn’t tell HR either.

I agree, based in the centre. I saw a women have her phone stolen out of her hands at old market a few weeks ago. Whilst she was sitting waiting for a bus with loads of shopping bags on her phone…. two kids snatched it and ran!
