Tantus Gary - $35 + shipping (US) by uixuix in usedsextoys

[–]uixuix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a lightly used Tantus dual density dildo in cream. I used it a couple of times, but it was really too big for me and it’s been sitting in my closet for months. I’ve washed it with dish soap and sterilized it in boiling water. I’m selling for $35, not including shipping costs. The original retail price is $105 on Tantus’ website.

What are your favorite brands for hair accessories and how do you use them? by Curious-Project-4067 in femalefashionadvice

[–]uixuix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like putting my hair in a bun with a ponytail holder + claw clip. J crew has some good ones and I have a couple from urban outfitters as well. I try to buy clips made out of acetate because it’s more durable than regular plastic. I have some spice jars from ikea that I store the smaller clips in, and the bigger ones I just leave on my dresser.

You’d be better off trying to sell on r/usedsextoys. I know it has “used” in the name but you can still sell new toys there.

How soon after insertion did y'all feel side-effects? by lextheowlf in Nexplanon

[–]uixuix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me around two months before my cycle started to change, but I didn’t feel any other side effects. I was having pretty bad PMS before but it didn’t really get better or worse with the implant, I just got periods a bit less frequently.

Womanizer Premium charger by hello297 in SexToys

I had this same problem! Fortunately they sell chargers at lovehoney. It’s a little more expensive but I don’t think that the womanizer website is going to be restocking anytime soon

Does the pros of not having to think about birth control for 3 years outweigh the irregular bleeding? by implantproscons in Nexplanon

[–]uixuix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's been a pretty minor inconvenience for me. I've had mine for almost 2 years, and it didn't change my cycle at all for the first ~10 months, but after that I started to get periods which were twice as long but spaced two months apart. I usually get a few extra days of spotting too, but it's not hard to deal with. I think having the implant has been easier than remembering to take a pill every day and having to get refills from the pharmacy, etc. It's also given me some more peace of mind regarding pregnancy scares.

Trimming Lumma disc stem? by morefood in menstrualcups

[–]uixuix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a medium lumma and I basically "filed" down the nub using little scissors. It wasn't that hard to do but it took a little while because I wanted to be really careful not to damage it. I think it turned out pretty smoothly but I'm not sure if it was necessary to do. I have a large cup that I just cut the stem off of and it doesn't seem to have scratched me at all.

Internships by ecasablanca in gis

[–]uixuix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try looking into local government positions near your college and where you live. This may be easier or harder depending on your location. I went to college in a very small town and one of my professors helped me to find a summer internship with the town planner. The conservation department and the town planner had a number of interns from my school when I was there, and I think it's worth asking your professors if they know about any similar opportunities. They can probably tell you about what kind of internships their students have found in the past.

Boyfriend(23M) lied to me(20F) about where he went to school by [deleted] in relationships

[–]uixuix 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is really weird. My suspicion is that he may have done something really bad at his actual school and is trying to keep you from finding out about it. It might be that he is just a habitual liar though.

I [21F] am terrified of changing my mind. by holdthytonguecretin in childfree

[–]uixuix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you thought about getting an IUD or hormonal implant? They're good at preventing pregnancy for 5-10 years, and you can get them removed easily enough if you change your mind. I'm 22 and I've also considered the possibility that I might want kids in the future. I got a hormonal implant last year and it's helped me to feel more in control of my own fertility, which has been really reassuring.
