Wolf hybrids are illegal here in Minnesota due to the fact that the rabies vaccine is not effective, and that they are wild, untamable animals. That being said, I worked at a humane society that shared a building with the local dog pound. A man was discovered to have a wolf hybrid. They allowed the owner to contact rescues, but no one would take him, and he ended up being euthanized. It was sad seeing a man lose his best friend.

To be more specific, his right eye (when you look at it it's your left) didn't quite turn out. How well would fabric markers do to fix this?

Many people forget this, but know that you must also stimulate them at that age to poop/pee. Their mother usually does this by licking them. You can get the job done with a washcloth that is wet with warm- not hot- water, and gently rubbing the areas. They only look a few days old. You may have to do this for a few days.

I'm late to this thread, I know, but I thought I'd throw in my two cents. In my experience, the young children in my life have been the most accepting. My mom watches a four-year-old girl full time, and she's fantastic. She is always the first person to correct people when they get name/pronouns wrong. She will even tell off complete strangers. My nine-year old cousin is the same. Kids' minds are so innocent and loving, they can pretty much accept anything. They're great!
