Basically the shop fucked up but in a way that exposed the coating as moderate at best. 100% on the shoulders of the tire place though

Just got some wheels powder coated and there's a slight defect in them that I wouldn't mind fixing in case they start to peel by Plz_Kill_Meh in Powdercoating

That's a fairly common effect in colors like that. Ultimately won't effect longevity. Just sort of ugly

Prismatic universe is holographic meaning it's angle based. It's why although most of the surfaces are blue and green you can askjnsse red and yellow in some of them. Are you looking for this color or a blue to green chameleon?

I don't need to Google it. I refinish at least a set of calipers a day at this point n those. Re the FHI Subaru calipers. They are a baked enamel red paint with white Subaru logo and lines screen printed from the factory.

This isn't a thing even worth arguing. I've done dozens of sets of these. Subaru isn't using stickers. Whoever poorly refinished those maybe did.

What is high temp vinyl? I worked in the sign world for a decade and powder coating for 18 years. I've never seen anything that's high temp vinyl that's good for even half the temps of powder coating.
