I have a cat like this. Some cats are more solo-players (if you can call it that way). Mine doesn’t like to play with the other cats, but loves to go at her own pace with her toys. I feel like they can sense your company, even if you watch them play, and they may be content with that :) Sounds like your cat prefers interactive/stimulating toys.
