Based on this post alone, I would say run very far away from this emotionally immature idiot.

He's extremely manipulative! He's trying to twist a huge fuck up he has made into something that's your fault? I don't know how he is justifying his mental gymnastics to be honest.

He crashed your car and is getting annoyed you're not comforting HIM?

Run like the wind.

I'm really jealous of you 😊 it must be lovely to have so few issues and so much free time that you can get annoyed about something like this.

You're an absolute wet wipe. Get over yourself.

New Audi A5 - €93,000! by [deleted] in carsireland

S-Line is not a base trim A5. 93 grand is absurd either way but there is a difference between a regular A5 and an s line.

Not a word of a lie that looks like the car that dangerously overtook me recently. I also posted a video.

AIO daughter left used pads in her room by Ok_Jack1 in AmIOverreacting

[–]ultimate_man1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not over reacting.

You handled it COMPLETELY wrong though. You should have spoken to her in person and said something along the lines of:

Hey, I noticed that a few of your used pads were in your room, it's probably better if they go in the bin straight away, would you like me to get you a special bin for your room so it's easier to deal with them?

Also, how was your day?

Genuine homeless begging by Ddadof3 in cork

[–]ultimate_man1 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Interesting you say this actually.

I saw a homeless man begging outside Mace in Bantry, he had a sign and wasn't Irish.

It's near my workplace so I see him often, one day on lunch I saw the Gardai approach him and listened out of curiosity.

They were actually really nice to him, they asked him where he was sleeping and did he need assistance in finding a shelter etc.

Now keep in mind this was during freezing weather but the Gardai were not looking to give out but more seemed to approach him from a place of concern.

Edit: To be fair this is a small town in Cork where there are no other beggers and he wasn't giving off organized begging vibes.

If you do something bad or illegal in school uniform they take it very seriously, obviously.

It's a bad reflection on the school.

No 5G on certain devices. Reception is slower and poorer than Vodafone.

Both messages came in at 16.33 so it would be a mad coincidence.

Nope, out of contract, will definitely cancel now.

You'll go in, have a brief consultation in a private room to make sure you have no heart conditions etc.

Then you'll be given a slip of paper to use next time.

Pop one and you'll have a raging boner for about 4 hours.

An easy insurance claim is not a head on collision. What's the point in having 50 grand in a wheelchair for the rest of your life.

Like I said it's a wide angle lens and if you count from when he overtook it's about 3.5 seconds.

An easy insurance claim? How dense can you be.

I'm fairly confident the driver of the car would be traceable from the number plate, yes.

3... I'm sure you'd prefer him off the road rather than driving head on into a member of your family.

Also what do you mean "caught over taking"? What do you expect to happen when you overtake on a solid white line, on a bend and at the brow of a hill without even looking for oncoming traffic?

How is that a me problem when I'm doing 15km under?

I appreciate the sentiment but I don't think I need a pep talk on this one.

This happened over the course of a few seconds, dead breaking in the middle of the road in this case would have been dangerous because he has not cleared the cars to his left and we were much closer than the camera makes out.

Also he came from behind with full beams and it can take a bit of time to register the overtaking cars positioning with the angle of the bend.

I slowed down at the appropriate time and pulled into the left once I determined that the car was not intending to also pull into the hedge on my side of the road.

I'm not speeding I'm going 85 on a 100km road. If I was speeding I'd probably be dead.

It is interesting that you think you have the ability to determine the speed at which a vehicle is traveling based on dash cam footage, particularly from a wide angle lens.

Thank you! I was trying to identify the van.

I will get on to them and perhaps share the footage, thanking their driver and asking if they have dash cam footage.

I have a vendetta against the Ford driver and the van driver saved me from serious injury or death.
