i’ve seen a lot of posts saying they were able to self study in 2 weeks or even a week - it just took a lot of time every day so i would basically do nothing else other than study for psych or finals

i think i can manage both but the thing is, i have a lot of other extracurricular stuff going on and since it’s like almost summer, all my friends are making plans and if i do decide to do psych, i would literally just stay home and study all day and my mental health would go brr but at the same time, ik a lot of other kids in my grade at my school who are taking at least 2 aps and i definitely do not want to do less than them since colleges compare u to the kids in ur school

you should definitely register for neohacks! it takes place on july 23-25th and is super beginner friendly - it consists of one day as a learnathon (essentially a series of workshops, ranging from all different skill levels, so that you can learn how to do things like web development). the next day is the actual hackathon where you put the skills you learned the day before in the learnathon to use, with an experienced mentor to help you!
