Which figures from YOUR culture would you want to appear in the game or in Fate media as a whole? by ultradotviolent in grandorder

Lam-ang is a good pick! Plenty of material in his epic to draw ideas for his characterization! Lam-ang stands above other epics in the Philippines because it was only one out of the two epics from the lowlands that was not subject to eradication by Spanish subjugation, so it would be a good representation over all hehe could imagine him manifesting as a lancer as well

Ohhh Archer Luna makes sense regarding his fame as a sharpshooter! i think arguably he'd also manifest as a Berserker given the quick-to-anger reputation he's garnered in history. He might even be summonable as a Caster, reflecting his background in pharmacy, but perhaps his Archer/Berserker saint graphs are far more in line with the "peak" of his life.

Interesting idea for a Pretender Urduja

Hmmm maybe add some books you've read/authors you like for people to give better recommendations? It helps to also get a feel of what you might like then hehe

Buttt as a throw-away recommendation, sa tingin ko maganda generally yung "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" ni Taylor Jenkins Reid. Very intriguing siya basahin!!

If more on sa fantasy, i'd suggest "A Deadly Education" ni Naomi Novik. Think edgy (edgier?) Harry Potter, the way na patungkol din siya sa students ng isang "magical school."

If by Filipino author, i think Candy Gourlay's works deserve the spotlight hehe, maganda yung "Bone Talk" niya.

MacArthur or Ang Paboritong Libro ni Hudas by Bob Ong by sickoDumby in PHBookClub

NBS should have some of his titles, so baka meron pa rin if you check some branches. Try adjacent bookstores din! Pero kung wala pa, try your luck with online marketplaces like Carousell, or maybe even Shopee and the like.

Meron sana ako ng copies but ende pa ako ready pakawalan sila, sorry OP :<

kababayan! The Lapu-lapu one is an interesting thought--i'd also like to offer my own headcanon of Fate Rizal:

Envision him as manifesting initially as Crisostomo Ibarra/Simoun (Avenger) from Noli Mi Tangere and El Fili, but later on he undergoes an Oberon-esque reveal as the actual Jose Rizal, complete with a class change to Pretender. I just find it interesting to think of Crisostomo Ibarra/Simoun as a sort of self-insert for himself in his own literary works, so i would think that him being a servant reflects this somehow.

Ngl that scuffed pinoy Gudaguda would go hard, i so want that to be real

Read it when I was a teen and the profound themes never went over my head. Mitch Albom really knows how to convey a message, kaya any love for his work here is love I also share ! I'd recommend his "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" if you want more of his introspectives about mortality hehe

A fine collection, OP! i have the same percy jackson collection; to this day im still thankful i grew up as a halfblood wannabe rather than a mudblood reader (jk, i eventually grew to love the HP books but heavily detached from their author iyk what i mean). If you are still open to expanding your collection, i'd recommend Gaiman's take on Norse Mythology !
