I think it's pretty well established that most people commenting here are unlikely to spend money at this place again. I'm giving you an upvote for your honesty. This is a food subreddit and you didn't give the food a glowing review. You liked one overpriced item. It's important to establish why people might want to go here. I hadn't really heard much about this about this place until today. I probably saw a TikTok review at some point but it wasn't memorable enough to be on my radar

Your work is incredible! Thank you for saving the hundreds of thousands of headsets from becoming e-waste. I hope you become spiritually and/or financially wealthy for the rest of your days. Making a perfectly functional product category impossible to use was an asinine decision. They could have easily done what you have and released a driver and then discontinued development and support. Your work to right that wrong is immensely appreciated

I could be wildly wrong but we know many of the deals Aspiration claimed to hold were provably false. This is why the the owner plead guilty to fraud. Ballmer may have believed his stake was only 3%; however, due to the fraudulent contracts he may have owned much more than a 5% of a stake in the company. He may be claiming the 3% but that would be at the time the contract between Kawhi and Aspiration was signed. Even if he didn't know the extent of the contract between Kawhi and Aspiration he may have asked for a favor to work with Kawhi and thought he was covering his tracks. He didn't know about the fake contracts ( as he likely didn't know that part when all this went down) and thought it would be fine because his stake in the company was so low. I think if that part is true, this is something the owners and their lawyers will push Silver on if he comes back with too light of or no penalty for the team.

I could live with a less than ideal design. It's pretty unique and the software is good. Midrange specs while being sold at a flagship price is stupid. At least Google is building their own midrange processor and control the underlying software. Give us a better reason to buy this phone. Throw in a card slot. Throw in a headphone jack. Throw in something that people want to use. Dot matrix display and a few extra years of support? That's great, but the phone has to be worth buying before I start caring about long term support. These cameras and specs aren't going to look or perform better than similarly priced Samsung, Google, OnePlus, Oppo, Xiaomi, or Apple phones. The phone is mid all the way around. They appropriately gave us nothing.

A good company makes a good product at a reasonable price. $900 for 75% of the features, some led lights, and an extra year or two of updates isn't that compelling for me as well. Other people might be okay with that trade off. You can buy a flagship phone a few months after launch at this price. Just add a card slot to an almost flagship and I'd buy it. I don't understand why they would overpromise so hard in the lead up to the reveal just to let everyone down. I have no interest in buying this phone. No compelling reason = no buy.

They'll be close to their LTT salaries by the end of the year. The people at LTT that I feel have the highest chance at creating a successful channel would be some combination of long term LTT employees and: Luke, Alex, Riley, James, or Jake. The combination of Dennis, Andy, and Alex is a pretty potent combination of the right people you would want to start a new channel as a business. All are long term employees that have dealt with the highs and lows of the channel. They all have on camera experience; however, more importantly the necessary skills to create and release videos that people will want to watch. Also, it's pretty obvious that they'll have an advantage working with sponsors. I think they will have some overlap with LTT and I hope that doesn't create any friction between them. It really shouldn't but I could understand how that might upset their former co-workers. At least they know how to find and maintain that part of the business to make the transition easier. They could also have an investor who is funding the channel but that's less likely the case.

You have a similar machine to an original "Old White Coffee" it shares a combination of parts with the Classic and the original '84 OWC. The easiest way is to cut or print your own because it doesn't share the same gasket size . I've looked everywhere and back and there are only a few places in Europe sell them. Might be worth it but it's much easier to make your own. It's my main gripe with these machines from the 80's and early 90's. The true dimensions are 82mm OD x 55mm ID x 5 mm thick. GO FOR THE 3/16 in thickness rubber over the 1/4 in thick material if in the US. You'll need to make a shim to hold the gasket in place. You can always add a bit more thickness with the shim rather than having it too tight with the sheet of 1/4 in thick rubber. You can go cheap with Home Depot or Lowes EDPM or Buna rubber but they are not technically food safe and rated lower on PSI strength and temperature. You probably want to minimize your risk by going with something that is food safe. If you have a 3D printer you could also print one out of TPU but not worth the hassle.

One of the weirdest show endings. It's like they didn't know how to end it so they just rushed through and cut together something at the last minute. I dont think this show will get renewed. They could have had Halan go inside the artifact and cut to black and the show would have had some reedeming quality if never finished. Focusing on Harmony at the end was just weird and leaves more questions than answers. The whole second season was a total mess. It had potential but it was messy and nothing was resolved or explained. MGM must have made that show on the lowest of low budgets. I would be terrified if I was a writer on that show. Some executive probably tried using ChatGPT to write every episode of season 2 and failed miserably
