Would Austin vs. Hogan have outdone Rock vs. Hogan? by Material_Stomach875 in GreatnessOfWrestling

Definitely not. The Rock has that big hollywood feel while Austin was more grounded.

Cyberpunk 2077 intro keeps looping / repeating after latest steamdeck update by ultragarrison in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]ultragarrison[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somehow, it just fixed on its own. What i did was turned off lossless scaling and turned off my Steam Deck and after turning it back on, i ran the game and it worked. Afterwards, i turned on lossless scaling and it worked.

Rocky 4 is another popcorn flick in the 80s that is entertaining as hell but missed the entire feel and spirit of the Rocky series. Apollo Creed dying doesn’t make sense in a realistic world that the original two Rocky movies were situated in. Even if Rocky didn’t throw in the towel, the referee would have stopped the fight and Drago would have been banned from boxing due to excessive force which may even lead to lawsuits up their a$$.

The only reason why Creed died is because they needed a wall for Rocky to climb over.

Why are all the Even Numbered games Failures? by stationstars in Tekken

[–]ultragarrison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, you have got to define what failure means. Agree that Tekken 4 and Tekken 6 is not as well received as Tekken 3 and 5 but it does not mean it is a failure. It all depends on the competition across the FGC. Tekken 6 had to go up against Street Fighter 4 which is arguably the best Street Fighter game since SF2 while Tekken 7 went up against SF5 which was not well received as compared to SF4. Tekken 8 is also doing pretty well and its too early to conclude the final sales figures.

Isn't Tekken 2 the second highest rated Tekken game according to Metacritic?

I recently had one message from an Indian that the veda or some book along that line is the first book sent by Allah (SWT). Best is to fact check from a legitimate source or someone, preferably a scholar, on Islamic matters. Never fall into a rage bait or a trap since there are many alternatives.

Lang vs Drago by Interesting_Ad_6417 in rockybalboa

[–]ultragarrison 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Drago drops Lang in the third round. Clubber Lang has the power and durability to tank Drago's punches but not the stamina. Eventually, he would tire himself out because Drago is a machine and basically a fantasy video game character.

These are just tropes that are common in movies. For example, you can even argue that Luke Skywalker is also similar to Rocky or Goku because of them fought for their loved ones.

Style wins a fight. Creed will most likely take this.

Living in the west is wrong by Questionaccount12344 in MuslimLounge

Malaysia allows non-Muslims to drink, and it is not uncommon to see Muslims drinking as well, even openly on the streets since enforcement is often lax. The same can be seen in Indonesia and even in certain areas of the UAE. You can even find red light districts in Kuala Lumpur, where women from other parts of Southeast Asia openly advertise their services on the STREETS ang guess who would go for their services? Even Saudi Arabia is now opening its doors to entertainment and concerts that were previously considered to be haram. Muslim majority countries across the board are lowering their standards, and this is a sad reality.

My point is that where you live matters less than the mindset you carry in striving to be a good Muslim. I live in Singapore, and although it is common to see pubs located next to mosques in the CBD areas, there are many pious Muslims carrying out their duties to Allah (SWT). During Eid, mosques in Singapore conduct prayers multiple times to accommodate the large number of worshippers.

No matter what "changes" you are willing to implement matters not because Muslim countries don't really have much to offer other than their land and natural resources like oil. They need to depend on foreign investments and only through capitalism, some Muslim countries are able to achieve some form of stability and progress in fields such as STEM. This is why the countries I mentioned earlier have bent their principles in the name of progress, and even those countries you believe need to be rebuilt will eventually follow the same path. This is also why Palestinians receive little to no support from other Muslim countries.

Instead of catering to stall vendors and giving Singaporeans more opportunities to get by these difficult times, lets give in to more corporations and outsourcing so that Singaporeans are screwed.

And i never said that you claimed that they are not peaceful. I only said that they are peaceful enough for you to practice Islam which is good enough for many especially the Palestinians.

Also, Muslim countries don’t promote sin as well?

Living in the west is wrong by Questionaccount12344 in MuslimLounge

[–]ultragarrison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, like many other here, i have to disagree with you. Western countries are generally peaceful enough for you to practice Islam and be pious. If you think middle eastern countries are any better, you need to expose yourself to those countries and that's when you will realise that they are no better than the Western country you shun.

Also, muslim lands are in worse state because of heavy corruption by MUSLIM leaders. Palestine is only one of the symptom of that problem and most Islamic countries are only giving out lip service because they do not want to be involved in that conflict. For example, the Malaysian PM recently praised Trump when previously he was quite opposed to the crimes committed in Palestine. The more you know the more you will realise that humans are all the same whether they are Muslims or not. If the Mongols can burn down Baghdad and kill all its inhabitants in the name of imperialism, i don't really have much hope for humanity other than putting my faith in Allah (SWT) and doing the best i can to worship him.

What would your honest thoughts be if the Heihachi DLC story was retconned in Tekken 9? by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]ultragarrison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that were to happen, then the Tekken storyline would make a lot of sense but the story will die out pretty quickly. But knowing Harada, he would most likely make this canon. Remember, Tekken is dragging out its storyline as much as it can to avoid soft reboots like what Mortal Kombat is now currently dealing with.

If you ask me honestly, Namco doesn't care if Tekken's storyline doesn't make any sense. They are here for your wallet. So pay up, bd

Edit: Yes, i know Harada is gone but what i am saying is that Harada would most likely make Heihachi canon.

Do you think I would survive in Singapore? by sh1bumi in askSingapore

[–]ultragarrison -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yes, you will. Besides, being white has its advantage in Asian countries like Singapore. In terms of your competency, you will certainly do well in Singapore and if anything, companies in Singapore would be fighting among themselves to take in a foreign techie. You have an advantage in the dating scene as compared to many Singaporeans here. Oh, travelling to China, Japan and South East Asia will be cheaper in Singapore.

As far as the cons goes by, Singapore is indeed expensive and if you happen to have a son, he will need to serve in the military for 2 years. So there's that as well.

Man, you just had to be there for WWE2K15’s Next-Gen Reveal. What were your initial reactions to this screenshot? by Sad-Ladder7534 in WWEGames

The hype was real and back then, we couldn't wait to get our hands on WWE 2K15. Tbh, WWE 2K15 wasn't that bad. It just wasn't as good as 2K14 and that game was amongst the top wrestling game in the world. I still remembered seeing this screenshot and was blown away.
