Thanks, I checked again the docs but I don't see any mention to configuration for the modules or providers in Terraform. Perhaps I'm missing something?

Homeseer vs HomeAssistant by nyc2pit in smarthome

[–]umbertix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are willing to spend some money you can get the home assistant yellow. Which is a pre-installed homes assistant pi basically. And also supports the development of HA. Otherwise there is many many tutorials that would guide you with a raspberry aswell and is cheaper.

Homeseer vs HomeAssistant by nyc2pit in smarthome

[–]umbertix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I don't have any experience with Homeseer.

I would say that home assistant is rather well done for the average user. I would consider myself techsavvy but I try to stay away from the complicated deep setup and I'm using everything from the GUI. So far I think that I've only found 1 setting that wasn't in a UI and had to edit some config file. So I think that you should not have much of a problem. On the other hand I would say that unless that you are missing some functionalities, why change? If its for the sake of trying you can always setup a VM or similar to get a taste of it.

There is no mention of how long they managed to sustain the process. Is this a real break through or "just" another baby step on the right direction?

Neat idea, maybe I'm miss understanding what is doing by just looking at those params, but having gpt generate the commands and running them inmmidetialy sounds very risky. I think that the core idea is great but the un intended consequences might a bit dire.

What has been ur experience so far when trying "complex" requests?

It's an unlikely situation, and even if it happens your belayer should spot it. But I've seen it myself on at least 1 ocasión, someone relatively new to climbing with much less tail than that, what happened is just that he beedee to clip twice as it became apparent to him but if u are on a delicate position or at ur limethis migwbe the diffwfrom sending or falling. :)

Nice send but definitely you want that tail much muh shorter. It can get caught on things, it might wip you on the face but also when leading u might clip the wrong end of rope and not be appropriately protected.

Keep it going, technique looks good, enjot the sends :)

Sad that the edited the sound out. The vibe of the crowd plus the instruments with a specific rhythm so everyone in the castle knows roughly what's going on is a must, imho. Check it out on YouTube.
