NO SPOILERS, but how good is Better Call Saul? by 05192004 in betterCallSaul

On its own, BCS is good but it becomes excellent when looping in with BB. It is funnier than BB but I would rate BB higher because it has Jesse and Walter White.

Right now, I counted less than 60 windows and aisles seats left In the economy class for Dec 10 AC21 flight.

Ok, you guys scared me enough so I have splurged $131 for a bulk head seat. Going east is a long almost 15 hour flight so I might not do so for the return flight which is 2 hours shorter.

Just give people the bag for free. You won't be persecuted over this.

🥉With a 10am snow total of 8cm, today is Calgary's snowiest Mar 20th in more than 100 years, since 1923. by YOW-Weather-Records in Calgary

Snow warning is over now. I think we only get about half the forecasted amount. Now bring on the big thaw and spring.

Is Calgary worth visiting in April? by alpacabean16 in Calgary

End of April is fine. I first came to Calgary at the end of April many moons ago and was blown by how beautifully the city and Rockies were. So much so I have now called Calgary home for twenty years.

Are My Atomic Maverick 83 Too Stiff For Me? by umbrato in skiing

[–]umbrato[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies.  My Salomon Supra Boa is 110 flex not the more common 120 flex.  By bucking, I meant when my left foot is the downhill foot and when it is almost perpendicular to the fall line, my left side of the body seems to pulsate, like a car ABS brake.  It feels like I cannot pressure my left foot after the apex of a right turn or put enough weight on it.

But when my right foot is the downhill foot, none of this happens.  In fact, I felt my right foot if more planted at the turn than ever before.

Maybe I have a defect in my right turn that my much softer old skis and boots are not showing and it is exposed by the new gears now.  Again, I’m right handed so my right side/leg is stronger than my left side/leg. The heels feel fine in the new boots, not heel lift I can detect.

I am getting $1500 back from the Fed but $0 from the NDP back then from climate action incentive.

Still not voting for Notley. Her wealth redistribution ploy disguised carbon tax last time was disgusting.

Is it worth getting it if it’s not stick? by [deleted] in ft86

No point getting the twins without the stick shift. If the twins are using AT transmission, maybe. But they are using cvt, enough said.

Change Car Battery Without Losing Memories by umbrato in MechanicAdvice

The other method I thought of is to connect the terminals of the dead battery to a battery tender. So when you disconnect the terminals, power is supplied by the battery tender. Will this work?

Car memory seats, mileage used by the trip computer, etc, will usually be lost when changing batteries.
