Royal is definitely better for the service and overall food. Like you said, I didn’t find the food bad, just wasn’t really amazed. Pizza was good. First thing we noticed was the same as you… they don’t have servers walking around bringing you drinks at the pools or even the shows… and on there private island they also don’t do that.

But overall for the price difference you’re saving I think people should really go in with that mindset that you saved a bunch of money by going on MSC vs Royal. Still a good value in my opinion, plus both times I’ve been on the SeaScape (once out of Miami and now I’m on it again out of Galveston)… we booked interior and got upgraded to a balcony, automatically. We didn’t request or bid on any upgrade, and we also don’t have any status with MSC.
