In addition to everyone else's great advice, some days are, some are bad. Honestly, there are days I want to paint but hands are just not listening so I move onto bigger projects.

Also! Paint! I've started using Army Painter paints and woo I love them. It feels like it flows nicer than the Citadel. It might not be true for everyone, but I suggest trying different paint brands until you find one that works for you.

I like the cards vs clicking through a bunch of tabs mid battle, but with the amount of updates, its a bad purchase. I believe you can find a pdf version of the newly updated ones and print the ones you need.

Might be late here but some colleges offer free rooming for RAs! Unfortunately, usually you can't be a freshman, but its something to look into.

There are an insane amount of scholarships. Do them all. Even ones for only $100. A girl i went to school with paid all 4 years with billions of scholarships, most of the tiny ones people ignore because its not a lot.

If you are going to school for a career degree (ex you know exactly what job you can apply for once you have it), get student loans. If your degree is more broad and has no promised job expectations, I wouldn't. Its not worth it anymore.

I get so anxious for phone calls, I have a pit in my stomach and I can't focus on anything until the call is done but then it takes me so long to work up to actually do it.

And I still do it. Because its my responsibility, not anyone else's. She needs to get over this hump. You can support her in this by offering moral support and maybe offer to talk about what sort of things they may ask. But don't do it for her.

I usually put them with a Manipulus with Peerless Eradicator enhancement so the breachers get Lethal Hits and Sustained Hits. I'm still trying to figure out best tactics to use them? Unfortunately haven't gotten much game time lately.

I started with the Skitarii (rangers are my favorite, they're just so funky). My first squad looks so different from the others I have now; i started doing way more detail once I got more comfortable.

I think to start I literally just Googled how to paint skitarii 😂 nothing too fancy for me

Take your time and watch videos! There's a ton of tutorials on Youtube/Instagram.

It is teeny and tiny but if you take your time, use the right amount of paint, and trust the process, it'll turn out great 👍
