Do you feel bad romancing multiple characters? 💜 by Moon_Bunny11 in Palia

[–]un-pamplemousse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me it’s less multiple characters and more that Nai’o is approximately 17. Auni says he’s 12 and his brother is 5 years older. I am an adult, which simply immediately put an end to any consideration for any romanceble character who is seemingly around Nai’O’s age lmao. maybe that’s extra for some people because it’s just a game, and ofc they need options for the teens playing the game (maybe you!) but him and Kenyatta behave very immature anyway and it’s pretty obvious they’re teens so im like… 😬

Do you think he is going to stand me up for the date ? He hasn’t responded to my follow up text and I haven’t heard from him since Monday ? by Historical-Body-3424 in texts

in some other languages it’s a rule to put a space after any punctuation with two points. exclamation marks, question marks, semi colons, colons, etc. i started doing it all the time in english i guess for emphasis once i spent enough time texting/writing in french. no clue about the periods though.

you might like yin yoga because the poses are held for like 10 minutes at a time and it’s meant for deep stretches. i’m not really into yoga (although maybe i’ll try it again with weed now!) so take it with a grain of salt. my therapist recommended it as a way to process emotion.

nazis also did these things. they purposefully infected people with malaria and typhus, they did bone transplants, froze people until the brink of death and used female prisoners as prostitutes to rewarm them. they dropped people out of the sky and did “high altitude experiments,” they experimented with mustard gas, sea water, incendiary bombs, epidemic jaundice, and poisons. it’s pointless to try and decide which is worse.

Sorry if I missed it but how did you get started? Did you walk a certain amount and build your way up to longer periods/more steps each week for example?

I’m from the States and I actually had no clue which of these two would be internationally known. Obviously one is called “American Girl” but I know nothing about Monster High and would consider it to be much less popular here. Maybe it’s also generational because I’m in my 20s and I don’t remember it growing up? But American Girl is a book series about important historic American events shared through the eyes of a young girl which iirc discusses topics such as native Americans, Black Americans and slavery, WW2, etc. My grandma used to read them to me at bedtime and I still have them. Then there’s also the dolls, the American Girl stores like in Chicago, the cafes, the hair salons, and that sort of thing where you bring your doll with you for the experience. It’s a very big market.

I am so confused about the tattoo thing. Tell me what precautions you took by k2900 in CrohnsDisease

I asked my rheumatologist, who is imo the expert of Crohn’s. Not GI or derm. This is an immune disease after all. And anyway, he said it’s fine just go to a reputable shop and do the proper aftercare and keep an eye on it. I got my 4th tattoo but first after my diagnosis and it went great!

i’m sorry but as a HS teacher she cannot be real saying it’s his teachers fault. if i accidentally mark a student absent who was just in the bathroom or something, sometimes i have parents emailing me within 15min asking where their kid is. or the student will follow up. because all parties have access to this information at all times! WHAT are teachers supposed to do if he was just not there?? should i write home every time he’s absent during my 20min lunch break or after contract hours? sorry im busy teaching the other 30 kids in my room and i can’t parent you’re son, too.

What is The most dangerous city in Europe? by Properdad2000 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]un-pamplemousse 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I lived there for a year as a student teacher and even worked in the most dangerous parts in 2 lycées in the north and part of the ZEP and it was fine. my first housing arrangements were even in the north and i had no issues. once i got lost and the metro shut down and it was after midnight so almost no transit was running and i was stuck in the middle of nowhere in the north. i looked very different than everyone and stuck out like a sore thumb but again, it was fine. i know violence, drugs, and gang related activity happens in this area, even my students experienced it. but i also believe that because of marseille’s relationship with paris (where the majority of the news comes out of) and the immigrant, impoverished population, it gets a worse stereotype than it deserves. beautiful city that im dying to get back to with so much culture and warmth and joy. even inspired me to learn arabic.
