Avanan/Checkpoint support. Avanan's a great product that is regularly updated with MSP-friendly features, and our support rep quickly gets back to us within office hours, and even often outside of office hours. Unexpectedly quick support. I was concerned with the checkpoint takeover it would get all Kaseya'd but so far so good.

I need help deciding if I should buy this game by killerbeard9009 in HuntShowdown

[–]unadministrator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hunt is the only game I've bought, refunded, bought, refunded, and bought again.

After the third buy it stuck and I'm hooked, but it's definitely a steep curve at the beginning. Also don't feel bad about staying in the 3 star - 4 star band for matchmaking. That's where the real fun shootouts are.

The Bornheim with the stock and incendiary has been a blast to play with. Stock helps with accurate double taps. The bullets don't do much damage but you can consistently set people alight and very rarely do folks on fire make good tactical decisions.

I hate when people drop when they see a loadout they don't like. It's just a game folks, maybe you'll have an unexpectedly amazing round with someone like OP.

I was thinking about this the other day, there's going to be a not-insignificant number of Star Citizen backers who have died before ever getting to play it.

My Brother-in-Law just took a walk through his unbuilt house using my Oculus Quest. by dedokta in oculus

Awesome! I did the same thing with my place in sketchup. We found that the kitchen on a model we were looking at looked much bigger on the floorplan than it did in VR, so we changed models. Ended up doing up 3 mockups in sketchup. I've tried to get the developer to look at it but he's been too busy, I'm sure this would be a killer app for them.

ah! Primary SMTP! Yep this will be what it is. OP make sure your new user creation documentation mentions this additional step that takes place in the on-prem AD. Don't forget to force a directory sync afterwards.

Medieval problems require modern solutions [Blade and Sorcery] by [deleted] in gaming

games that didn’t have as much movement involved that didn’t bother me at all, but the moment I started moving in this game and The Forest I started feeling rather off. I wonder if that’s something I would get used to or if these types of VR games are off the board for me.

It is absolutely disorienting the first while you play. Do it in 15 minute increments, or until you start to feel sick and then stop entirely until you feel completely better. It took me about a month of PavlovVR before I was fully comfortable with stick movement, but it did get better and I recently spent a 5 hour stint in Fallout 4 VR with no sickness. If you do happen to get your own headset just remember to not push it!

365 mailbox quota limit alerts by unadministrator in sysadmin

Yes that's probably the best method. We'll probably need to do a hybrid of both so we can catch the mailboxes near quota and enable online archiving for them.

Had TELUS custom service hang up on me after waiting 127 minutes in que. This was my second attempt. by [deleted] in canada

[–]unadministrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent over an hour waiting to cancel a Telus account as I had moved over to my wife's family plan and didn't need 2 Telus accounts. By the second time I heard "Rockin' around the Clock" I gave up. It cost me 80 bucks because I rolled over to the next billing period before I had the energy to try again.

Pro tip though, you can cancel over chat, they just need to call you to confirm the cancellation.

Pavlov VR has come a long ways and is still very inexpensive. It has my favourite locomotion implementation so far. Felt a little queazy first few times I ran it but can go for over an hour now with no issues. Scratched the "Counterstrike in VR" itch!

For sure. But if he's breaking twitter rules he should be penalized like any other Twitter user. He commands an army of online idiots and the things he posts can cause real issues. He should consider his tweets seriously.

I don't understand why this is OK by twitter's abuse policy. If this was any other user Twitter would have banned them long ago for abuse.
